good job! Tamil and Telugu people love big budget, flashy films without any substance in them. This will be a huge success like Sivaji.

Have you seen the movie? From your comment, i doubt it. This movie if full of substance and that too relevant substance!!

Have you ever created anything by yourself in life? I doubt whether you have done it because then you dont know how to appreciate creative things!!

Go... have a life yaar...

by bharat on Mar 03, 2008 01:46 PM  | Hide replies

With Rajnikant playing Akbar?... after all, they cannot look beyond Rajnikanth.

Anyway, whoever it may be, we can be sure to see a fat, flabby Akbar in the Tamil version

Film is a success
by a roy on Mar 03, 2008 01:35 PM  | Hide replies

If the film has grossed 50 crores plus in the first 10 days, how has it performed 'average' or 'below average'?? This is ridiculous!

This is because the production cost was abt 40-50 crores and the collection amount above is gross collection and not net collection. Gross collection includes various taxes and profit sharing with the distributors and partners...
Thus so far it has managed to break even and the initial euphoria is gone now...so it is sort of average opening.

This is because it was a costly film, I think around 40-50 crores. Plus the collections include taxes and profit shared with the distributor, this is gross collection and not net collection for the movie. In this regard it has managed so far to break even for the producer and still no huge chunk of profit.
