Why this movie is not dubbed in kerala? I would love to see fat..mohanlal playing akbar and sexy..shakeela playing Jodha...This will be a big success in kerala and will break all the record...Love to see such a movie..
How can we be so foolish by not recognising good and bad movie.
Jodha Akbar is very good movie.
How a movie like Welcome can be better stared (***) than jodha akbar (**).
I think we have lost something in our head.
Is it telling that people are changing to the level where things will be interpreted totally in reverse direction.
Movie is good whether u agree with story or not. Its truth or not we do not know but yes the presentation and acting is very good. It gives a good idea how we can keep our ego down even when in power.

Its you who lost something in the head not others .. movies are meant to entertain the audience .. 'welcome' succeeded in that where as 'Jodhaa Akbar' failed .. its that simple ..

movie is not only an entertainment for junks it is also an art.junks who look only entertainment and cannot relate anything artistic might rate welcome more. but ppl look for an artistic creation might rate jodha more....

Being an Indian how you hate Tamilians? Grow up Guys, 'm shamed to be an Indian. If budget comes, u blame Tamilians, If movies dubbed u blame Tamilians. I don know where we are going.

I think you should understand that first. I don't hate Tamilians. I was just making a point about your over-hyped, big budgeted film industry which churns out so many spurious films an year, but no art in them whatsoever.

adoor gopalakrishnan should direct the movie..Audience will have a nice sleep throughout the movie....

Oh no. Maniratnam will make it into an extravaganza with extreme hystrionics and with poor artistic values.

I do accept dude, the industry is good, but not the people behind it. We do have made good movies, after seeing Sivaji n blame whole Industry is not fair right?
you too accept that, moives from north too have something bad in it. Shall we all blame them?
RE:RE:Shame on You

First of all, I'm not a northie. so you can go ahead and do whatever you want.
To educate you a little, we all should follow a pattern as used in Malayalam, Bengali, Oriya, Kannada and Marathi, where there are a few great film directors left and can produce real pieces of art, unlike huge budget, nonsense commercial flicks, like in Telugu or Tamil or Hindi.

Mr Lakshmi Rai If you think commercial flicks are a cake walk then better rethink. commercial flicks are again a form of cinema take it or leave it no point in blaming the tamil/telugu industry ( I would still recommend some of the movies from Kamal, cheran, thangar bachan that would make anyone to situp and take notice ) for that matter I prefer good emotional stories ( Pursuit of Happiness ) to loads of rubbish in name of sci-fi from hollywood that doesn't gimme any right to term the whole industry to be doomed or useless.

Good one Mark... H/B/K/T/M/ABCDE ollywood is good, but with some bad money makers behind, we will take the good things, and never blame the personal aspect of them...

yes i do agree, but this s the media where we can teach few things, which are necessary to live a healthy life. We got to enjoy few movies, we got to congradulate few movies, we got to lose tears for movies, you got to select which one u want.

Lakshmi Rai Good Response. The only objection that I hold still to your initial message is that you singled out tamil/telugu for producing unbelieveable commercial flicks I do watch Malayalam/Hindi movies regularly and we are used to the stupid commercial potboilers that hindi industry churns out and of late I am sorry to see that malayalam movie industry too is deviating from its long proven artistic forms to noisy flicks. now how many of them each of this industry churns out doesn't defend them by any means then I am strong supporter to purge all these divisive boundaries of bollywood, kollywood / tollywood and look at indian cinema as a whole and discuss things wholistically. As a finishing note I don't know how characters / sequences in Hollywood are believable most of the times to most of people I still find them to be atrocious though I admire their technical superiority :)
