This is faltoo movie. No one should see it. First of all There is no Jodha in history. Neither Jodha nor Akbar married each other. Some idiots toyed their fancy into history. It is not good to encourage this type of inter religious marriage story films in India. Whereas it should be encouraged in Muslim countries. Some people are misguiding by telling that it is good movie. But I suggest no one should see this movie. This a poor and bad taste movie.Ashutosh Gowarikar is Ulta Dimagee. so he will produce this type of movies only. Don't follow his line.

Just because you dont like Hindu muslim marriages it does not mean it did not exist. Akbar was married to a Rajputh princess by name Hira kunwari and Salim was their son. Salim married a rajputh princess by name Jagat Gosni who gave birth to Shah Jahan( Kurram). Both rajputh princess were known as Jodha since they came from Jodhpur. There may be a dispute about names but the ladies married to the kings were rajpuths who mothered Janhangir and shah Jahan respectively.

It is a fantastic movie on romance that developed after marriage bet 2 pround magnificent people of different cultures.

My Dear friends, Film Makers make movies to make money. Bothering about the genuineness of the story contained in films is absurd. In real life, there won't be songs at good locations etc. etc. We need not quarrel for that purpose.
