You expect the church to help shoot a film that tries to oppose it? Dont be a fool.

Intolerance is what is done to the film water. Fundamantalists kicked the crew out of the city. Here they are denied access to the church which is wel within the rights.

All Religions thrive on intolerance and ignorance of the followers. The religions were crated by vested interests for controlling the gullible masses. The moment any one questions their dogmas, they feel threatened. The Catholic Minister, Jewish Rabbi, Muslim Cleric, Hindu Priest, etc are no different from each other and think in the same obscurantic manner. The sooner we all get out of the religious dogmas, the better for the whole mankind.

From time memorial the Word of God as always been challenged. The fact that such movies and books continue to perpetuate the market with such ease indicates the freedom that is permitted to take a swipe at the Bible. But the fact that it has stood the test and all these critques have failed, besides making books that sell in the market but lack any credible evidence to refute the Bible, shows its tenancity!

you really dont have to test it against the bible!

these are fictional stories that come up purely for entertainment value. and disappear soon afterwards. the church is an establishment thats got deep roots into the hearts, minds, business, matrimony, and also in every aspect of a christian life. so, like i said before - fictional works need not be taken as a challenge. someone going away from the religion to say something like scientology - now thats a challenge to the church!

guys please dont compare the christianity with hindusim, dont try to put them in the same bracket just to sound impartial.
hindusim says all religion are different paths to god whereas christianity say only it is the path to god. Now tell me which is tolerant and inclusive.

And i see hindus criticising hinduism, but no christian criticising christianity. That shows how tolerant hindus are.

Dude, get ur facts straight before u comment. No Christian will criticize Christianity. They will neither criticize other religions nor indulge in violence in the name of religion. But on the other hand, look at the (in)famous activities of Hindu organizations like Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal, RSS, VHP, MNS, BJP, etc. They thrive on communal tension and hatred. Of course, there are millions of moderate n peaceful Hindus out there. It would not be fair on my part to generalize. Similarly, u don't generalize too. Christianity is known to be tolerant by the whole world and unlike certain other religions, we do not have any extremist or fundamentalist groups.

Why do every one think Da Vinci is Fictious, but none even see the possibility that Bible could be Fictious too. Da Vinci's theory and all other authors in his time and before tried to table a point that Jesus was never a god but a man with good bearing. Now how difficult is it to accept that thought and think in that direction for a second.
