this is a god send chance for vatican to correct all past mistakes. dan brown's work is part fiction, part fact. that is the truth. whether u lost respect for tom hanks or not, who cares? i too dont care who is tom hanks, the same for jesus or vatican or any other SoB. ur concept of god itself is funny. someone outside oneself is considered god. looks like the book is really hitting the foundation of those few fanatics in vatican and its supporters all over. in the western world nobody cares for what vatican says...otherwise there shud hav been some protests. people dont care much for these things as they feel vatican itself is at fault for falsifying history, bible and about jesus. banning will not work. vatican shud collaborate with dan brown and see if they can bring all others with similar interests and carrry out a genuine research in these. that way all doubts will be clarified.

Y r u so worried? Why cant u debate and clarify all those things mentioned in davinci code by ur evidence. hmm.. I hope u dont have any evidence to prove what all dan brown mentioned in that book? first of its still a controversy abt jesus'crucified or not. Means its still a mystery and unsolved murder case.

The Koran says Jesus was never crucified nor killed..infact koran says Allah replaced Jesus with another look alike...thus fooling the Christians and Jews...
If this was true it proves that Allah is an great Joker..and that he can do anything right or wrong ..he can fool mankind..he can make guide them to hell..he can wreck havoc with anyones faith..infact he can go to any extremes to do what ever he wants..
sadly then allah is not God..for God does only good..and he can only guide..he doesnt misguides..infact the Christian God Jesus came to Guide and take back people and their souls back towards himself..he wanted them all to be in heaven..not in Hell...infact Chistainity welcomes entire mankind to Heaven..not Hell..while we see here Allah misguiding people,races and communities..what an sad God Allah really is....no wonder even an man of small faith in Christianity is assured of salvation in Jesus..while Mohmed himself said about heaven or hell i am still unsure..just imagine to follow such hopeless leaders..what is going to happen....

as mush as i know only islam is one religion in which any debate abt their origin is banned. Atleast they have freedom to demonstrate things and freedom of expression.

hey fool..ur religion is itself an Mythology...infact the name Hinduism was coined by the British..
I think it is good for the Catholic Church to deny access for filming Dan Brown's works. Whether you agree or not they teach a consistent doctrine which does not correspond to Mr. Brown's new religion of cut and paste from various sources. Besides it is also quite disingenuous of him and the film makers to opine that theirs is only a story when they go around encouraging idle speculation to take the place of religious debate. Good going for the Vatican! Perhaps Messrs Brown, Hubbard and Hanks should stick to making plaster of Paris casts for those magnificent sculptures. After all, making fakes is what they do best!
