I mean , I do agree that its not one of the best rock album, but its a good effort in the right direction. The author of this article doesn't seem to have listened to a lot of rock music.The reason why he is so vehemently criticising the album. We can't expect death metal and stuffs from this album,definitely not.Its India man , how many people do you thing will listen to it.The album sets pioneering steps in the field of Rock music in India.Please if you cant appreciate , atleast dont criticise such efforts.

i seriously would like to know Raja Sen's credentials to review a music album.
He's primarily a movie critic and a movie reviewer (and a bad one at even that).
The album rocks ! For the uninitiated, World music moods into Bollywood is here to stay (Hear the title track from Jaane tu... outstanding jazz number !)

Farhan's voice is very weird in the first ten seconds but then it grows on you and you want to listen to him. The album is a great attempt because it IS rock music,and the lyrics arent supposed to be mind blowingly profound. Its staying true to what it is-- couldn't you be a bit kinder? I mean did you hear him hit that "zindagi" note in Tum Ho Toh?!?! Aerosmith's #1 SONG WAS I Dont Wanna Miss a Thing--- so hard rock does tend to get a bit sappy :) Only I'm just really glad you (sort of) liked Sinbad the sailor and Phir Dekhiye because they're my favourites off the album.

Couldn't agree more. Though I like the way Raja writes, he sometimes gets vitriolic. I am sure that criticism doesnt have to be this scathing, after all, he has a right to air his opinion.

The album is a clear entry of proper rock in Bollywood. Talking about the lyrics... they are superb... A rock song's lyrics are meant to be like that. Every song shows a different dimension. All the lyrics are meaningful.
Guyz this album is a rocking effort.
I guess the review lacks maturity. Dear Raja please give more number of hearings before writing some crap.

Rock on...is totally a rocking album.... Farhan strinkes again... And this time harder... Farhan Akhtar Rocks... and Raja sen...(the loser.) stinks...
