It's obvious you don't understand what makes this movie special. It's not the story but how you tell it that makes all the difference. If you don't get that you aren't that sharp.

What it takes to make good movie is novelty of the story or atleast presenting the story in new way.......
While watching this movie don't u think u r seeing repeat of a SRK movie or so many non-descriptive college kids movie.....
Surely this may by liked by college kids like u, else it is surely a crap

"What it takes to make good movie is novelty of the story or atleast presenting the story in new way....... "
That's exactly what you got from Jaane Tu.
"While watching this movie don't u think u r seeing repeat of a SRK movie or so many non-descriptive college kids movie..... " Absolutely not!
"Surely this may by liked by college kids like u, else it is surely a crap"
This is where you show your true intellectual capacity. This movie was truly loved by people way past their college years.

Hi Arun, i do not want to fall to your level of "intellectual capacity" by questioning other people intelligence.
Anyway we were group of 20 people when we went to see this movie and nearly all of us had similar view on movie. And just to give our group IQ level, want to mention that most of them are from the elite colleges of india.

My intellectual capacity comment was for this statement. "Surely this may by liked by college kids like u, else it is surely a crap"
First, that is a very badly written sentence. Second, it is an unprovoked ad hominem attack.
I admit my comment had the same flaw but that was deliberate.
"Anyway we were group of 20 people when we went to see this movie and nearly all of us had similar view on movie. And just to give our group IQ level, want to mention that most of them are from the elite colleges of india."
Elite colleges in India don't really teach people to think. None of the educational institutions in India actually do. They produce droids that are great at regurgitating mechanical knowledge but very poor at analytical application. We produce a great labour force but very few innovators.
The movie is not perfect but has heart and honest, believable acting. The story is also very well told. All of which most of the movies produced in India today don't have.
IT IS COPY OF mallu movie "niram" and dear now the big one the title song Kabhi Kabi main line melody Rahman Has copied Pritam...unbelievable listen to the flute prelude to the song "Halka Halka sa nasha...." in choclate

Pritam is the biggest rip off artist ever, go listen to the korean song Sarang Hae Yo - Kim Hyung Sup. Pritam lifted the music and tune verbatim no change at all.
1. The movie isnt bad to watch, at some times you may find it slow, but which movie isnt today. 2. Acting of Harman is the plus point,I mean its his first movie and he has done commendable job. 3.His dancing skills are better than most of the so called dancers today. 4.The costumes, setups and ideas for scifi are different.
I have seen people criticising the movie and going gaga over Jane tu Ya Jane Na, I mean its like comparing apples and oranges.
Any newcomer can be launched with a college story as its a best gamble, unlike Hrithik and Abhishek who were launched unconventionally and so has been Harman.
I am neither a fan nor a friend of Harman or any of the stars and havent been paid to write this stuff but giving a personal opinion.
Enjoy the movie like any other Star Wars or Hollywood movie which can be quite a drag in some places but we still praise them.

Yet again, another remake of Mallu movie. But no credits were given............ The mallu movie is Niram directed by Kamal starring Shalini and K. Boban. It was a hit. the climax was in railway station if I remember correct.
Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, produced by Aamir Khan, has done extraordinary business in Week 1 and the collections on Friday (Week 2) was a brilliant 90% in many centres.
The movie made on a limited budget, without any stars to carry the movie, is a winner all the way at the box-office. The first week collections are about 20 crores and what’s more the second week could actually be even better! More shows at multiplexes and more prints in the second week could mean a marginal drop in the second week. Remember big movies usually drop by around 40% in the second week.
Imraan Khan could not have asked for a better start to his career. This is the biggest debut since Hrithik Roshan’s in the year 2000! A new star is born. For Genelia D’Souza, a star down south, who has struggled so far in Bollywood, this is a huge break. Not just the lead cast, the success of Jaane Tu has done wonders to every member connected to the movie. Abbas Tyrewala will be a director to look out for in the future, his next movie will no doubt be keenly anticipated. The supporting actors too are getting huge appreciation for their performances.
Overall, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is a success story that will be remembered for a long time.
nt a wow! work... but definitely a feel good film.... and it makes you wish you had such good friends who ll be there for you.... nice work ppl.... keep it up!
