Right now everyone's focused on "oh! Heath. He's dead. What are we going to do now?" but the real tragedy of the whole thing is that his daughter won't remember her daddy in 2 years. In 5 years she'll be hoping that something she remembers was really with her dad but it turns out not to be. And down the road? When she graduates from high school, gets married, graduates from college, and has kids of her own... Daddy won't be there. And even though she may get a new Daddy, it won't be the same and she'll wonder what he would say or do. And that's what breaks my heart. That a child should have to go through that.
Initially I thought its a nasty publicity stunt for the new Batman movie, but it soon became clear he died on a drug overdose. Its even sad when you think he has a very young daughter.May his soul rest in peace.
A FAB ACTOR,WHO CAME OUT WITH A GREAT PERFOMANCE IN Brokeback mountain.Heath i was struck by this great movie and your perfomance and became your fan,its sad to know that you were coming out in an another great perfomance ,your perfomance will live in our heart forever
this is shocking...another young genius of showbiz goes down.....we've lost a would be legend of cinema....a fantastic article though written by Raja Sen.
I'm in complete shock. I noticed this link on the rediff main page since evening, i thought it was an interview Heath Ledger had given !!! I didn't check the link. I logged onto imdb.com right now and the headline hit me. This is sooo wrong. In Brokeback Mountain Ladger was exceptional. I became a fan of his after watching it.
This is a very very well written piece. RIP Heath Ledger
