why?
by on Jan 24, 2008 04:06 AM  | Hide replies

I wonder why he felt the need to do this, he had a beautiful daughter, and she will never really get to know her father like every child should. Was he so far gone because of his love of michelle williams? Did he not know there was somebody better out there for him?Why was he wanting to hurt him self and hurt everybody that loved to watch him on the big screen? Did Michelle see any signs of him losing control? Heath was one of my favorite actors. It is a big loss that he will not be around and to be a role model for his daughter. I still can't believe this is true, we will miss you.

Ah ok. Don't believe everything you read. These media sharks will do and say anything to get headlines.I mean yes it may be the case of suicide, along with hundreds of other people around the world that day,Or it could have been a number of other things. Intentional or not,he shouldn't be judged on that. Some prescription drugs are very bad and alot of the time people are misinformed about the side effects, mixing with other prescriptions, alcohol consumption and so on...
No one will truly know what happened that day, I just hope he is remembered for his talent.

Argh..

Heath was an amazing actor, yes. And people just need to stop tuning into the news, and the media. All they are saying at this point is that he was a victim of drugs, just like anyone else in Hollywood that has died. Why is the first thing you think of when someone dies always DRUGS? Nobody knows, so I wish people would stop saying it like they knew him personally.
I think it's sick, in fact. Think of what his daughter, mother, father, and family is going through. They don't need to see all over the papers and television, things about him abusing drugs and what not.
I do believe that the role in Batman was a hard thing for him, but you can't blame that, either.
Not until they know for sure.
I'm just tired of everyone saying it was this and that when they don't even know.
I'm especially sick of the girls at my school thinking it was a tragedy just because they found him "cute." I can't even begin to tell how many times I've heard that today. It's actually sickening, everything I'm hearing about this is twisted, and sad. -.-

Nobody knows the facts yet other than Heath died alone at too young an age. Can we please remember that and stop the speculation and critiscism?

As the saying goes 'you can be most alone when surrounded by people'. Let's show our collective support to his family, friends, Michelle and Matilda who are suffering most at this time by remembering all that was wonderful about Heath.

Heath, I'm proud to be of your generation
thank-you for the teenage memories
Goodnight, God bless xxx

This is one of the best articles I have read yet about Heath - and finally a comment that goes with my thoughts and feelings. Please let this family greive in peace. This clearly was not a suicide and having not known him personally I can't say but I also doubt that he was involved with drugs as has been hinted....HELLO! He is an amazing actor that has had some serious roles involving drug addicts - I would bet some of the reports come from his preparing for those roles in which he didn't actually use any but was researching so was a witness to drug use. Also that horrid video that people think is real. Come on! It was supposedly taken 2 years ago - Heath was 26 at the time and supposedly made the comment that he'd smoked 5 joints a day for 20 years...get real people - can you start smoking pot at 5 or 6 years old and still graduate high school at 16 - I don't think so..nice try! Unforunately technlogy and the ability to creat images and voice over is way too available to people to harass people! Leave it alone - lets wait for the toxicology reports...and even then...lets remember the good time, honor his memory and his work..most importantly honor his beautiful daughter Matilda!! Let her remember her doting dad and the love he shared with her mother - that will carry her through the difficult times and feelings of loss she'll face in her life missing the dad she never got to really know. We'll miss you Heath - I'm so sorry you had to die so young!

i can't beleive it. i really can't. i realy hope it was an accident, for his daughter's sake. to die on your own is something so sad in itself. i really hope wherever he is right now, he's at peace. from recent photos that were taken literally a few days before his suddent death, he looked diffrerent. ill. someone somewhere must have known the pain, depression and isolation he must had felt...and surely should have helped?? thats whats so sad..this could have been avoided. i know it's going to sound so rediculously harsh, but a part of me genuinly imagined britney's name to be where his is right now. what with the constant paparazzi at her every turn.

he was a brilliant actor. and a beautiful human being. inside and out. god bless him and his family.

"Hardly few". Yeah, imagine Amitabh or Shah Rukh, staying in a motel alone to immerse with their characters. We've never had "method" actors, though some intense ones like Om Puri or Nasiruddin Shah have had some wonderful roles.

The Joker!
by Prakriti on Jan 23, 2008 11:26 PM

He was playing the Joker, for god's sake! I had seen the initial rushes of the movie, and I had eventually downloaded the trailer, to see it again and again.

He was almost immortal already. It is so crazy stunning that I almost feel sad about watching the movie now!

I mean, just unbelieveable!
