Dear Veer Savarkar,
Jesus heals everyone irrespective of his faith and religion. I have known of many people who have been healed of serious deseases, just by faith in Jesus. If u want to get healed u need to forgive even your enemies. This may sound easy but is very difficult. We should not challenge GOD nor doubt HIM. Do we ever doubt our parents? U should have faith in your own religion first, then u need not get converted to any other religion. I am a catholic and I will die one.

Why Amritanad Mayi or Sai baba or Sri Ravi shankar cant eradicate even poverty in India.why All these people are not doing any thing for poor people instead of going abroad,How many Dalits can be seen in their Setup

Dear Mr. Yadav,

I don't think your religion preaches that you should burn the churches and religious institutions of the Christians in Orissa, Gujarat and the rest of India, burn innocent people like the three martyered Stains, or kill and maim the Christians who have done so much noble work in India with their educational institutions, hospitals, and charitable works. If the Christians were really on a conversion mode then India would not have had only 2.2% Christians today. Why are the Hindus who are almost 70 % of the population so apprehensive that they will lose persons of their faith? Is not the real problem because it is difficult for other religion' people to see and appreciate the good work done by the micro minority christians, educating of the masses so that they become better aware of their rights, etc.? Yet does not every one try to get as they say 'A Convent education'. You cannot bite the hand that feeds you. Jesus is mighty and will forgive every one who hurts him and his followers!!!

Alwyn, I appreciate your patience in answering the question. But you should believe the fact that Christians' strategies are different. They have service institution where more people come...Education and Hospitals...If education is a common service to people then the school prayer should be of common god. As you told hindus are more in india, then why are the prayers are christian songs. Let it be any national song without religious. The hospital again is full of Christian doctors and nurses. Give equal opportunity to others.. There is no apprehension for the hindus...We hate conversion. If you want to do good to the people do to them irrespective of their religion. Do not do service with the motto of converting them ultimately to christianism. Do not take advantage of poor people in India.. Help as a human..I am a hindu...but I help anyone any religion, caste or creed without any target in mind of conversion. Lets first be humans than relgious animal..Did Jesus ever told to convert as many people to christianity? I dont think so...

Tell me how many converted Christian have you met in your entire life....??? You must visit St Micheals church in Mahim - Mumbai, or Vailankanni chruch in Tamil Nadu....n see the hordes or Non - Christians who come to Chruch on thier own...

Let me rephrase your question... How many dalits. Then how many christian Dalits (most of them converted and use dual benefits), then how many muslims... Its simple... those who really care dont ask stupid questions. They simply do what is required.
Understanding the culture of india is far beyond your intellect. Hinduism (which is more a culture than religion) is not some growing young religion which needs to still understand what is good and bad. It is a culture started in 4000 BC and has seen it all. What you guys quarell about is nothing but valueless nonsense.
Grow above it is what scriptures of Hinduism preach.

And you are asking for how many dalits... how much fuss was created when prince charles was married to a non royal. It is existing every where. where is it that discrimitation is not present. Royal, Trader, Black Smith, Pirate, Simpleton are these not similar to casts. Do you think a royal of england would marry somebody who is a Black Smith! I Dare! Dont go into the mindset of the west where everything has a border and a flag.

Amma -- Shes a dalit(or some lower caste) herself. She has a significant lower caste following. And her organisation does a lot for the poor.

Satya Sai -- I dont believe in him. But his teachings are good. His biggest and constant advice to devotees is to serve others. Other than what his organisation does(le running hospital etc), his devotees who have samitis in every town/city take up projects, shell out their own money and does some good or the other, like running aids cell providing free food to some school etc.

Ravi Shanker -- I have felt he does a "take money from rich and give to poor" thing. He charges for his courses, but does a lot of good social work. Plus he does his courses for free in prisons, poorer sections of society etc.

One reason, you may feel that dalits arent seen in many of these organisations is because
1. You havent done ur research. Just commenting from your perception and from media created perception.
2. You cant distinguish a dalit from a non-dalit from his appearance :)
3. I have felt that poor people in India are very often too poor and battling for survial to be spiritual.
4. Many poor people are too poor to follow, their gurus around the country. I know many Sai, Art of living and Amma devotees, who constantly want to move with their gurus. Like if Sri Sri is in Bangalore Ashram, these guys will go to Bangalore to visit him, bcos they have time and money on their hands. Or they go to Puttparthi a couple of time a year t

One Sai Baba or Amma cant solve all the ills of our society. They do their bit to uplift the society. Just because Dalits and tribals are getting converted in Orissa because of the ills of our own Hindu society, doesnt mean they are fraud, or they arent doing their bit to eradicate poverty or casteism.

But there is only so much one man in one birth can do.

If life was made that easy then there is no point in living! A true holy person will never show his divine/magic powers directly....Please remember that. Holy people like the one's you have mentioned may be capable of such a feat (like eradicating poverty), but they will never do it as there will always be some other problem then....try to think logically what will happen if there were no poor...for all you know, no one will clean the garbage outside your house then...there is a meaning behind each and every creation of GOD

Its all started becos some of our ancestered had sex with some gorilla.thats how HIV started spreading in this world. Many kings died becos of this, not even aware that they are HIV affected.

Today we name it as HIV due to science and technology.

Why an Hindu like AR Rahaman converted to Muslim,because One his sisters was Healed by a Muslim sufi,it is happeneing in every where. chiristians will convert to Hinduism and Muslim,Hindus converts to christanity and Muslim etc etc.Dont think much into it

Just a thought.. In this modern day when you have all sophisticated technologies people like Sai baba or Amritandamayi are able to get so many devotees.. Then How easy is it during ancient days for a person like jesus to get so many devotees.. He would have been a great spirit .. much many folds than the mother theresas we know.. and that would have caught the attraction and so he was a darling of the masses.. But i dont think all the stories mentioned in bible are to belived . that way there are loads and loads of stories in Hindu mythology about Flying Gods and their world.. You may object saying that christ was a real person who existed on earth , but we dont have any visible proofs for the miracles he did ..

I am an ardent Shirdi Sai devotee. And I have seen many miracles, biag and small, after I started believing in him. The stronger ur faith, the bigger miracles. And perhaps if faith of an HIV infected person is strong enough, he may even cure him. But dont think he will do that for all HIV infected ppl.
Similarly it must be with Jesus and all other saints.
