Ghajini is a good film.
by maram jyothi on Dec 27, 2008 01:38 AM

Ghajini is a good film. I watched tamil version and also hindi version. Aamir is fantastic in the film. eventhough it had same thing in tamil the last 2 hours gives you fresh and brilliant performances from Aamir. Rabne banadi jodi sucks and Ghajini rocks...
It is a blockbuster.

If Ghajni passes 100 crore net mark, it will beat DDLJ
by farhad on Dec 26, 2008 11:47 PM  | Hide replies

Current Net adjustment of DDLJ is 98 crore, and Ghajni is to make over 100 crore net, if this hppens, SRK fans will be pissing themselves as amir has beaten him in every sense, weather it be International with OSCAR nomination, acting and now box office and will declare Amir Sir the ultimate king khan and Baadshah.

dont worry brother, ghajni will not going to touch the figure of 100cr.the figure which are coming that is because of the hype of cinema & the advanced booking before the release of cinema.after this weekend, the collections of ghajni will fall drastically & its collection will be lesser than rnbdj

SRK forms new gay club to celebrate the success of rab ne. He invites john and abhi to be new mambers...hehe new "members"..Karan J is thrilled with this new member drive. He calls SRK up amd asks him to join him. When SRK arrives he strips for Kjo. Kjo sees his member and says wats that tatoo. On closer inspection he sees a "mnik" written there. "Wats that?" he asks SRK. With laughter SRK says, "rub it and you'll know!" KJo rubs it and lo and behold! it reads " My name is khan" - the name of KJo's new movie!! Kjo snuggles to SRK and says " i kno u love me"

Better this message is blocked, though I am not a fan of SRK, the words used here are not fit for public form.. if you wanna say something, you can always say it in decent words.. any language is flexible, but it tell others how you are brought up, it tell completely abt you, how tribal you are.. may be you are from Bihar or UP.. I am depressed if you are not from Bihar or UP..

B.O. update:- 'Ghajini' has unprecedented start, collects Rs. 10cr. to Rs. 12 cr.
- By Taran Adarsh, December 26, 2008 - 11:41 IST
The keenly-anticipated GHAJINI fetched the biggest start ever, shattering the record held by SINGH IS KINNG and GOLMAAL RETURNS, the two big openers of 2008. The paid previews were packed to capacity on Wednesday night and the film ran to almost 100% response throughout the country on Thursday.

Studio 18, the distributors of the film, were in for a pleasant surprise. Having released two of the biggest openers this year -- SINGH IS KINNG and GOLMAAL RETURNS -- and also one of the biggest openers of 2007 [WELCOME], they couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the figures pouring in from all over. Exhibitors across the country were going into raptures, stressing on the cent per cent occupancy on Wednesday night [paid previews] and also Thursday [Christmas].

This writer was in constant touch with several exhibitors, who couldn't hide their excitement. The common feedback is, the crowd was uncontrollable, that the crowd inside and outside their theatres was the same, that the film was packed in advance for the entire weekend.

Talking of numbers, the film collected approx. Rs. 2 cr. in paid previews [a record], while the Thursday numbers were approx. Rs. 9 cr. According to early indications, the film collected between Rs. 10 cr. to Rs. 12 cr. nett, as per Studio 18. It's a new record, it's creating history

I saw the movie.. though bit long.. you can always see Aamir for extra minutes.. Murugadas cud have minimised the first part, but you wud be missing Asin the best part in the movie.. of course after Aamir.. I have see the Tamil version.. but this movie is better than that.. may be bcz of Aamir.. well done Aamir keep it up.. just look at his body, you will understand his dedication.. Jia is also good.. though short role.. but impressive..

The original script did not require muscles and body building acrobatics, how then the Hindi version had it? I am sure all Aaamir Khan fans had seen the movie, but did Mr Aaamir Khan see the original movie, where did Surya have extra-ordinary muscles, then Did Mr Khan see the original and understand what the original version was actually? If one is to re-make a film, he can not change the pkot of original version, how dare Mr Aaamir did? Yet critics and fans say, he is perfectionist, who is a perfect, who reads and accepts the original script or who makes a change into it? Mr Aaamir Khan has any say to it?

Rajesh, I have seen the Tamil version, Surya is very good in that, no comments on that its one of the best performance.. keeping in mind that lot of body exposure required, Aamir might have thought of developing nice body.. its always better to show best thing if you wanna show, isnt it.. having said it.. Surya's body is one of the best.. he also might have worked hard and pumped up lot of iron to develop that body.. but believe me Hindi version is better than Tamil version.. hope Tamil guys understand Hindi, sorry not many Tamil guys know Hindi, so you always think Tamil movie is best.. I am sorry.. think out of Box buddy..

Oh Mr Rajesh... you are so naive. First of all, lets get sone facts straight. The "original" is not the Tamil Ghajini. The "Original" is an english movie called "Memento", from which both the Tamil and Hindi makers have "stolen" the plot. So do not get pissed off about Amir making changes in hindi version. Because Memento makers are also very much pissed off at what the Tamil makers did with Memento.
If a stolen thing gets stolen again, the first thief can not go to court (but in this case he did which is evern more amusing). We are like this only.

Rajesh - I do not think that you understand. The "original" version did not require muscles on the hero because the hero, even if wants, cannot get the muscles in time. He will have to give up sambhar and rice which is impossible :)
Also, since it is apparent that you have not seen the "original" (Tamil) and the real (Hindi)Ghajini, how can you say that climax or something has been altered??

Rajesh- Problem kya hai... If aamir developed muscles or changed the ending which i am not sure of..what's the harm.. Didn't Gajini borrowed heavily from Memento and changed the storyline a bit (I mean the romantictrack songs etc) to suit the audience. So did aamir for his audience.. why the crib... I enjoyed the movie and a lot others too.. Hit hai..

Hi FirstLast,
Did you checkout Surya's body which he has developed much before Aamir and a better one, try googling for more info? That too having his rice and Sambhar. Please dont make stupid remarks. But lastly hats off to Aamir for his sheer dedication for building a fab bod, u r truly a magician.
