I agree with the review. I dont think the movie is going to do well since none of the ingredients of a rajni movie is present in this one. As a ardent rajni fan, i am quite simply dissapointed with the movie.

Rediff review is right in all nook and corner,,, pavitra review is giving the exact picture and giving the feeling of an normal film goer and also the feeling of the rajni fan.. for money and fame he should not accept this side role...his side role indicates cashing money with his name by cheating his fans.

I am a tamilian staying in bangalore. I can vouch for the people of karnataka who are good people and several of whom have achieved accolades in every walk of life. I have several friends both tamils and kanndigas who are all wonderful people. Let us not drag language in the midst of a sensible conversation. Ganesh.. every languague has achievers to prove.... FYI, Infosys founder, NR Narayana Murthy is from Karnataka who shown IT revolution in India. Technology and Engineering - Sir M. Visveswaraiah. Sports - Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, Javagal Srinath, Vekatesh Prasad, Sunil Joshi, Robin Uttappa. Films/Arts/Literature - Dr. Rajkumar - Name actor in world with over 95% success rate, Aishwarya Rai, all shettys in hindi film industry. Kannada literature - Highest recepient of gnanapita awards in India. You just cant create another bangalore, the IT hub of india in TN.

what do u want to prove? each state has its own set of achievers..half of the indian cricket team would be filled by karnataka players if one makes all time Indian criket team.. in literature kannda has won 7 jnanapeetha awards..highest in Indian langauges..the IT pioneer Narayana murty is also a kannadiga..kannda has given some of the finest artists like gireesh kasaravali,girish karnad,prakash rai,M S satyu..as i said earlier in each state u get many achievers..ur list would have been more impressive had u put Karthikeyan also !

I just asked all the north indians I knew and all of them accepted Kannada as the easiest langauge. So are U satisfied now? U tamils can stoop to any level to glorify ur langauge. Kannada is not copied from any langauge and is its own. may be there must be a lot of sanskrit influence in the modern Kannada, but definitly not copied from Tamil like U guys claim. First thing is dont repeat the same lies of saying Tamil is the oldest langauge on earth it is a raw lie created and planted by Tamils which only a Tamil can accept. Even if it is an oldest language, why should anybody bother about it? whats the point of saying its the oldest langauge when only a Tamil can communicate with another Tamil and it has no meaning in rest of the country who dosent understand it? First be a human being U guys fail in that. First accept all languages and cultures as great then ur language and culture also will become great. Great langauge and culture teaches to respect and accept every other langauges and cultures. Unfortunately U Tamils have always tried making fun of other langaues and cultures and that is not good respect for Tamil langaue and culture

Dear Ganesh, why are you comparing with states and create regionalism. I am also a tamilian. Every state has its uniqueness. Dont list out only superior things. Every states has its postive and negative things.
Its not a matter to me and many others, if he belongs to our state or not..as tamils are a truly great people who can take in any kind of people in to their fold, but has to speak tamil.
But What Rajni did as apologising to kannadigas was truly un-leaderlike quality. It only meant to say he would do anything for money. If you notice nowadays, his movies come in quick succession. He just wants to make more money. I have come out of the trance called rajni,like a few others, but the majority will realise soon enough, that this person rajni has no qualities to make him a true leader. Dont get me wrong, he may be a good entertainer, but not a good enough leader.
He may be doin some charity, but who doesn't. Donating 2 crores from an income of 200 crores is not a grand charity as you would think. Thats just 1% of his income. There are a lot of good hearted Tamils who donate 10% of their income.How can you compare them to Rajni.
Rajni has got a feeling that he is above everything. Maybe he should undertand that is not reality. May be everyone shoud understand that the system is more important than individuals. Maybe we should learn from US that howsoever popular you are, you need to stay in the system that fed you, if not you will be shown your place by the system as it is more important than the person, eg.JFK.

Tamils dont get jealous of the success of outsiders in Tamilnadu. Anyone can be a success, if he work hard.For example there are a lot of succesful andhrites in TN, and who form atleat 30% of the population of chennai.No one has raised a finger on them.But you cannot say the same of Kannadigas, the uneducated silly backward people who are just so jealous of Tamil and Tamilians.

When was the last time chennai erupted against malayalis (for mullaperiyar) or against kannadigas( for all obvious reasons) or andhrites (for the reason of their success..like marathis against northies) or against northies (for ridiculing tamil)..huh...Outsiders have always made their mark in Tamilnadu if they are ready to work hard, they are not discriminated against...TN is a unique place and you know that snajay, its time you come to tems with it.

You are right in Karnataka you find only Kannadigas in Politics and Film industry. But you can Name MGR, Jayalalitha leading outsiders in Politics and Rajanikant in Film industry IN TN.

Periyar might have spoken Kannada in his house, but he was born in Tamilnadu and his teaching was taken seriously by Tamilnadu people.
