super stars kuselan is really a great film and some dangerous fellows wants to make damage that film in commenting wrong, because the only reason is there are all just jealous of rajini and some poilitics, bnut one thing is sure no one can stop rajinis successand next to god fans like me is behind him always..i see kuselan 3rd time today , i like it verymuch, the onely thing miss in theat film is fight, that is a great missing for the fans, other than that everything ok..
The knives are out on Kuselan and with the right reasons. The film is a disappointment, not like Baba but definitely a shade below Sivaji and many others which were released earlier. Added to that is the apology controversy where the popular impression is that the superstar with clay feet has buckled and not bucked the trend of fanatic criticism against his films and his utterances.
The Tamil population is genuinely aggreived that their superstar has let them down and they in turn have not welcomed the latest offering of Rajini with open arms! The various messages that have been posted over the weekend clearly indicate that Kuselan may not make it at the BO!
Kuselan is superficial and barring the climax, a terrible film to watch. Everyone out there in the movie was out to cash on the craze of the superstar, his marketing muscle and the initial draw which is tremendous enough to enable the movie break even.
This time around, if the film flops, will the commercial king of Tamil cinema compensate the distributors?

Y he has to compensate the distributors?? When Baba didn't make it at the B.O.. he compensated the distributors cuz, he is the producer(owner) of the film. He sold it. But now.. he is just an actor... not a producer of this film kuselan.

Before I saw the movie, i was told rajni just come in four scenes and pasupathy was not given due importance and things like that.
Pasupathy's portrayal of Balu as barber outright and non-chalant to the local landlord cum money lender;as very caring husband whose love is portrayed as brilliant in adversity;a helpless father who cannot even afford the tuition fee for his children but in all these three facets the character maintains an equanimity which is achieved by humourous diaglogues strewn around the pathos in his plight. Balu has been portrayed as calm, composed, straight forward, honest, bold and at the same time soft, timid and in fact fearsome before his friend the super star. Pasupathy has not acted. Pasupathy is Balu. His performance will be a turning point.He was given a full play as the role demanded; if it all anything emulated Pasupathy's performance it the superstar rajini's inherent capacity to perform any role. That he has been portrayed in a larger than life manner by the original Malayalam Director is unfounded. He has not understood what Tamil audience are. What Rajni really is. While Pasupathy portrayed Balu; Ashok Kumar reflected Rajni. That Portrayal is true to Rajni real size.
Rediff star rating is disappointing. If you watch any rajini movie, even a movie like muthu is a four out of five in entertainment value. So it cannot be 2.5. the columnist wants attention by putting a 2.5
HE major differnce that i found in the original with kuselan is that ,from the first half of kathaparayumpol to the speech in the school, we have a doubt whether the barber has got any relation with the superstar.We are forced to believe that sometimes ,this man is acting fraud, in making others believe in thier story of friendship.Never in the film barbers personal view of their friendship is shown ........in kuselan, this angle and piece of doubt is not there ,which has affected the narratives .......................any one who has seen the both, please comment......And even in the climax ,mammootty spelled wonders with his 17 minute presence in the movie than a rajni who was there for an hour to create the same effect, but in parts.....
Kuselan proves to be a disaster for Rajini based on the rediff review,,, who hates sen review now appreciates pavitra... True words... No Magic, no gimmick,,, Utter failure,,, Rajini dont have true fans, if Baba could have run for atleast 10 days full house,,, not done, vacant after first day result is out... Fans wants reay hero not zero..

My friends(Tamilians and kannadigas) who are in bangalore said Junk Selfish star Rajini should not have apologized and they are going to see the movie in DVD tommorrow. Already DVDs are out in bangalore it seems. Coimbatore fans have changed their mind since they have brain. Dont you?

I have seen all ur 250 Posts Mr. Ramkumar. U have praised Rajnikanth the SUPERSTAR and just abused KAMAL HASSAN. Though I agree with u in praising the superstar I deeply respect mr Kamal hassan. IT'S FANS LIKE U WHO GIVE THE SUPERSTAR A BAD NAME. DON'T JUST LEARN HIS VIRTUES FROM HIS SCREEN CHARACTERS BUT ALSO LEARN HUMILITY FROM HIS REAL LIFE ACTIONS.

Hi, Super star status is worth, if Rajni or any actor( whos is holding some crazy titles) is coming in the screen for a few minutes and that film should become an blockbuster,,, Why cant this happen,,, why Rajni fans are not supporting him,, No true followers, they are mass people including us want him thruout the film which want entertaintment for the whole 2 hours. Not explanation about his own stand in is real life.. Any way Rajmohan, thanks for your recommendation.. I honour the status to you, so that lot of reviews shall pour on you.

Mr. Srini, Do u know the collection made by Baba? or do u know the collection of kuselan in the first week??? He is just a superstar......... not God. Name one superstar who never faced difficulties i mean failure in his life??? Even some of the films of Arnold, Jackie chan, Amithabh were failures. But kuselan is not even a failure. It's running succesfully(but not like sivaji)
