Films like OSO is very bad and it didnot had anything but these people paid goose made the publicity in the Cricket Matches and tv shows. These are SRK(RED CHILLIES), Karan Johar and Yash Chopra. Aamir and Salman films are very good compare to SRK. Their film directors usually used to be new and their films will be block busters at box-office. Eg:-Sarfarosh,TZP,Hum Dil de chuke sanam, pyar kiya toh darna kya...etc...
first of all ,jodhaa-akbar is a superhit. secondly,compare jodhaa-akbar with devdas,asoka or mangal pandey out of which only jodhaa-akabr is a superhit
These days a successful film is not a good film, atleast in Bollywood. The formula for a HIT film is AS FOLLOWS: (1) BIG STAR CAST (2) AGGRESSIVE PUBLICITY (3)LOT OF TV APPEARANCES IN all possible SHOWS BY THE FILMS CAST AND CREW (4) INTERVIEW AND MAKING OF THE FILM IN ALL POSSIBLE CHANNELS ACROSS THE COUNTRY (5)PAYING PRINT MEDIA AND ASSOCIATING WITH THEM..(as there are lot of greedy unethical misinformative websites who like to take money and promote trash films for eg. REDIFF and INDIAFM: money is the only thing that drives them) (6)CREATING UNWANTED CONTROVERSIES JUST BEFORE THE START OF THE FILM (7)CUTTING OUT GOOD TRAILORS (possibly with the only good & glossy scenes of the films (8)GOOD MUSIC GOOD SONGS (9)SOME SLAPSTICK NONSENSE COMEDY SCENES (10)COUPLE OF ITEM NUMBERS (11)EXPENSIVE SETS, BEAUTIFUL DRESSING OF THE STARCAST AND FOREING LOCALES FOR SHOOTING (12) FEEDING LOT OF UNNECESSARY MELODRAMA FOR OUR INDIAN FAMILIES (13) A HUGE STAR STUDDED MUSIC LAUNCH WORTH couple of CRORES (14) A MORE LAVISH PREMIER (15) AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST A HUGE SUCCESS PARTY JUST AFTER ONE WEEK OF RELEASE (it doesn%u2019t matter even if the film flops after the first week)
AND THE PIONEER OF THESE RULES ARE SRK(RED CHILLIES), KARAN JOHAR, YASH CHOPRA AND THE PEOPLE SUPPORTING THEM IN THESE CAUSE ARE REDIFF, INDIAFM SO GOOD FILM HARDLY MATTERS WHAT MATTERS IS HOW MUCH MONEY U FLUSH OUT IN THESE ABOVE MENTIONED RULES THATS THE STORY OF BOLLYWOOD
OSO worked and JA didn't. I think the author should get his facts right. There is absolutely no comparison between the 2 movies. Jodha Akhbar is far greater and a good movie than OSO. JA is historical movie and OSO is hysterical movie OSO was released months before JA. Why does he want to compare Shah Rukh with Hrithik. Saif is getting better than Shah Rukh and his movie RACE is way ahead than OSO. OSO is a bad movie.
"I think the audience has wisened up and can tell when a false controversy is being raked up to sell the film". Jodhaa Akbar's controversy was genuine. But the "audience cannot distinguish between genuine controversies and fabricated ones".
people go to movies during the new years eve, they just want some excuse of a movie - timing was perfect, and the trailer was well crafted. but the movie was a sad joke

My dear friend Jodha akbar made around 9 Cr in UK u know what that means..that means It made 1.5 million pounds..i hope u know wat that means as u r living in "UK"and that also means that its not only a hit but a "BLOCKBUSTER" got it my UK friend..So if you dont know whats happening around you ..its better to just read the comments and not to write any BS.
