Most of the ppl arguing abt islam dont know what ISLAM is. I am not saying I am a scholar or that I am the best person to clarify anyone's doubts.
But I would like to clarify few points from my perspective. The following are the fundamentals of ISLAM:
1. Believe in ONE GOD (In Arabic GOD: ALLAH) and Muhammad (PBUH) is the messenger of GOD.
Logic: How can there be multiple gods. As one kingdom cannot be ruled by 2 kings then how can this universe be run by more than one god. If one god says sun shud raise in east, the other wud say west and likewise conflicts are bound to happen.
Coming to Muhammad (PBUH) being the messenger of God, Please please do read QURAN - God willing, u will realise that it cant be a word of human being. and then look for the biography of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from an authentic source. May God guide us all on the straight path.
2. Establish prayer 5 times a day.
Logic: U shud praise the creator. Thank him for his bounty. Ask for forgiveness. If u create something (ex: robot) -- u want it to behave the way it was designed for. If the robot does not obey u and thinks that someone else is his master -- what wud u do. Having said this : I am not comparing GOD with anyone. HE is incomparable. HE is above everthing.
3. Give Alms (Money / Feed) to the poor.
4. Observe fast in the month of Ramadan.
5. Perform HAJJ (Pilgrimage) to purify your soul.

How u can say,Islam is the only religion that liberated mankind ????Is there any other religion?Please try to find it out.Don't struk on only one.It is easy to swim in the flow of water in the rever but try to swim against it.The real one can only do.If u understand the meaning then it's good. What is islam?what is koran?who wrote it and when?what is the purpose of it and it is justified?.I found out more and more muslim country having terror in it.What this stands for?I am the person belong to any religion and i don't want it.But i want this earth terror free. dear nation , pls visit China,Indonesia,russia and also america and ask who came to them with swords and forced to convert to islam.If we were to force conversions at knife point , the followers of the prophet pbuh , would have done that 1400 yrs ago , in a matter of days , as the then super powers , Rome , Persia and others were humiliatingly defeated.and we would have done the same today. I advice you to visit the Gulf countries once and check for ur self and believe me u would not like to go back to India , when u see how justly , they are allowed to live in full peace and security unmatched with even in India.Temples have been built here for you people to follow ur religion.We do not harm hindus anywhere even though so many atrocities are faced by the Indian muslims. Pls refrain from making false accusations without knowing.

@ hardy rock Hindus and Indians, in any country work hard for their living. Muslims are allowed to follow ur religion peacefully in india without any objections whereas thatz not the case in the gulf countries. Moreover here the media is free and independent and they make mountain out of mole hill if the news involves a muslim (whether good or bad) to prove their secular credentials. These days we have a new definition to secularism which is hindu bashing and muslim appeasement. And my dear friend when u talk about gujarat riots remember there were many riots before that where hindus were killed in huge numbers by the muslims. We dont here muslims talk about the genocide of kashmiri pandits or the genocide of hindus in bangladesh or the kidnapping of young hindu girls in pakistan, raping them and converting them to islam whereas there are many hindus who talk against gujarat riots. Gujarat riots started because of the train burning incident by muslims in godhra and nobody talks about that and u ppl talk only about the gujarat riots where even hindus were killed. I dont want the gujarat incident to happen again. We hindus respect all religions and islam is one among them. But if someone takes advantage of this as weakness and want to suppress us then we must take full liberty to hit back. You ppl keep complaining all the time no matter how much nonsense some of u create or how much freedom u have to practice ur religion in this great country.

Any kind of genocide to any living being irrespective of relegion/class/creed is highly unacceptable. It is real pitty for inncoents being killed in gujrat / kashmir / bangladesh, these are all crazy things done by inhumans which definately includes modi and his gangs and many more.....,,,..... there is no doubt about the freedom india gives to other relegion and pl dont forget this country was ruled by muslims for more than 100 years, if it was for the muslims to convert on knife point it would have happend ages back as my freind has rightly said above. Kings like akbar, jahangir ... had hindu wifes and they allowed them to practice their relegion itself is indication that freedom was given, today its Hindus who are majority and are in power and this wouldnt have happend if muslims rulers had ruthelessly converted hindus for 100 years of rulling. people who had seen their selfish desire has always made a way to kill innocents and islam and Prophet PBUH has never endorsed such killings of innocent peoples.

You just need to think of how islam was created to know the truth 1.the mother religion of christians and muslims is judaism 2.from judaism emerged christianity 3.last emerged islam all three religions speak of adam and eve and how god created adam from sand and from his rib he created eve All these three religions (old testament,quran and jewish texts)say that the earth is the centre of the universe and sun planets and stars move around it,all three talk about noahs arc,all three say the earth is flat.... Going by this logic isnt it more logical to believe hinduism that says god is present in everything...so praying to stones,trees,sun,wind,earth and private parts (as u so ignorantly call without reading the upanishads and rig veda)is akin to praying to god???? and when u look at the scientific truths revealed now by christian scientists....most of the logic of hinduism which if far older than judaism,christianity and islam put together is revealed. And u realise that the way of description of creation of the universe and man is as described in hinduism compared to the other religions
What is the most striking thing about the movie is that it is kept simple and hence appears realastic.
It follows the lives of 3 young people who are living similar lives but end up in different tragic circumstances. These 3 stories are used to show how taliban culture was spread among gullible pakistani youth, how otherwise liberal parents follow orthodox customs when it comes to their children and finally how innocent people are made victims of racial hatred.
Also the director has taken great pains to show that Islam does not subscribe to Taliban ideology(its the way u interpret it that counts).

Mr Bhagwat ,pls explain to me about hinduism then and answer my questions if possible : Who's the author of Bhagvath Geetha ? What are the general codes of conduct of a human being ? What are the rights of a neighbour? What are the rights of animals over you ? What is the way of drinking water? what is the way of going to sleep? What is the dress code suggested for a human being ? What is the right of a sick person over you ? What are ur duties as a human being. What are the duties of a man towards his kids, his wife , his parents..etc What are ur duties towards the poor , the orphans? how a property shud be distributed among sons and daughters of a family ? these are only few of so many questions one can ask. so I challenge u to answer them according to hinduism and if u cannot answer i can answer according to islam.

dear chosen one, i dont think one needs to follow any religion or cult,whether hinduism or islam to be superior or inferior.the only line of difference between a good man and a bad man is the way he treats his fellow beings and loves and celebrates the differences of different things and people.so stop being judgemental of others and do some good so that a muslim or a hindu does not have to sing the praises of his own community but a non follower of that religion will do that for him.
