a bit strong... but mostly true
by nodeax on Oct 16, 2007 10:28 PM  | Hide replies

i have to agree with most of what is written above....

more than his music or singing the reason why most people hate himesh is because of the way he carries himself about. his body language is such a turn-off that inspite of coming out with some good music once in a while he will never be appreciated or liked by anyone... he comes across as a conceited, arrogant idiot who's getting too big for his shoes... c'mon he doesn't even have respect for his seniors in the industry... who will respect him??? the reason he wears a cap all the time is to prevent his head from exploding with from vanity and self-importance

He will end up the same way Kumar Sanu and Abhijeet ended up. Nobody cares a damn about them anymore

He is an entertainer. If it does not suit your taste, do not watch him. Use the bloody remote.

I totally agree with you Amol!! I despise HR!! His music is still ok, but the way he portrays himself is awful!! He thinks he's some hunk wearing those low V-neck shirts and making that disgusting I'm-so-cool face.. YUCK!!! I can't believe he has such a huge fan following!! I really hope Aneek doesn't vanish like Vineet has!! And I really hope they don't bring him back to SaReGaMaPa!! I can't stand him anymore!! The remote won't help either because I still love the show.. I just despise him!!

he is a music director/singer and he should stick to that... the caliber of his entertainment is fit to be showcased in the circus or zoo... now if u get "entertained" by this it says a lot about u... its the reason why he's out there all the time... cos of guys like u... and as far as using the remote to change the channel... no... i wont do it because i like to see him making a fool out of himself so that i can bash him up in forums like this

All remotes have Mute button and you can also close your eyes or turn your head away.

No rather every TV channel should ban him and save viewers energy from making extra use of remote's mute button or closing and then opening eyes.
HR truely S**Ks by any measure in this universe

Both are average music directors and horrible singers and both are disturbing because of their huge ego!

The Author is a loser
by on Oct 16, 2007 10:14 PM  | Hide replies

First of all, Aggar is not composed by HR soo forget about it! Nanhe Jaisalmer was recored in his earlier times when he started singing. Why don't u people count albums like Namaste London, Aap Kaa Surroor?? They were big superhit and mind you both are much much sold than TaraRumPum, Cash or HoneyMoon Travels.

And can u tell me when did he lie abt his love interest?? It was fool ppl like u.... When his album Aap Kaa Surroor came.. u ppl started thinking it must have happened in his real life too, uselessly! It was a hype for free by audiences like you!

So first correct your views, then speak!

Pathetic writing. This guy is the publisher of a respected magazine called Outlook.
Grow up, Mr. Peri.
Sa Re Ga Ma is an entertainment show and HR does a good job of keeping viewers entertained.
Do not take is seriously and grow up, please.

It's not just entertainment.. it is a reality show.. with real people.. who have real emotions.. and the results of the show are also real. His idea of entertainment is cheap.. by unfairly flaunting someone else's so-called lovelife. Who gave him that right? I'm all for entertainment.. but not at the expense of someone else's dignity. HR doesn't seem like he has any himself.. maybe that's why he can't respect someone else's!! Why else would he shamelessly embarrass the contestants the way he does. He demoralizes them by shifting their focus on things like these rather than just their singing!! He's just plain obnoxious!!

Condescending article, and trying to single out HR to make him appear bad.

I am not a HR fan, but this looks like a article from a guy who is clearly jeoulous of HRs success.

Well, the outlook magazine is a leftiest mouthpeice anyway.

I mean to say that Outlook being commie dominated I am not expeting a normal columnist to be part of it anyway.

The article just proves that these guys from outlook are nothing but some bunch of frustrated, constipated, leftiest, not to forget totally uselss writers just like most of the media in India.

This article is an extremely biased article and shows frustration of the author due to someone else losing who probably author likes more.

This shows how journalism is misused. your article tries to mallice to a public figure.

Himesh...no class at all!
by on Oct 16, 2007 08:59 PM  | Hide replies

I completely agree with Mahesh...I as an audience watch Sa Re ga purely to enjoy the melody in the voices of the upcoming talent...its sad what Sa Re has become? form a classy, pure musical show to now where it has an idiot like Himesh as a judge...crude, insecured, complexed, ill-mannered...why does zee tv have to get him back again and again, please let it be a talent show...he was literally after Raja...its true...the way he would bring him down was atrocious...on the other hand were dignified and cultured Vishal and Shekhar who in true sense were good mentors...Himesh needs to be thrown out of this show, so people can actually enjoy music and don't have to go through with his nautanki which is cheap...he should carry on making stupid movies with girls whose age is probably the age of his kid...I HATE HIM!

by Vidhya on Oct 16, 2007 08:24 PM

i agree with teh article.himesh was teh sore area of an otherwise good show.they should not take him henceforth.he systematically brought down raja knowing clearly raja's popularity and his chances to win ahead of aneek.the way he spoke when musarrat lost clearly showed his inadequacy as a human being.vishal and shekar could have retaliated but didnt cos they only didnt want to stoop to his level.himesh is a poor loser.he is guilty of costing raja the victory.
