watch american idol. their finalists are heavenly singers, perfect body, style and class, great dancers; everything that one can have. what we have is junk in comparison.

I live in America and watch American Idol - where do you see the "perfect body blah blah...". There have been really 'big' singers, short singers tall singers and they danced in the finales, like our singers do too. What mattered is how they sang. Our Saregamapa singers sang beautifully, and most all of them had decent figures and could shake a leg gracefully. Get off this 'foreign' complex, get the 'junk' out of your brain.

Himesh Reshamiya is the best. It is his trend now. No one in India can stop ownself dancing or rocking on his SONGS. In every PUB or PARTY whatever, its incomplete without his SONGS. ITS HIS TIME NOW.

I have been watching SaReGaMa from the US since day one. Raja made the first impression as the best among the lot. Then entered Aneek and with his sheer grit and confidence and hard-work he won the hearts of many a people. However, Amanat slowly worked his way up - broke away from the Pakistani group (who tended to sing high pitched songs from a mould) and made a place for himself. Amanat reached the peak with the classical round. Raja was severely exposed in that round, however Aneek held his own within his limitations. Even Aneek agrees that Amanat is the best of the three. Amanat credits Aneek with perfection. And Raja is a free-sprited soul with an impressive range. They each have their strengths and made SaReGaMa extremely watchable despite the gimmicks of Himmesh and co. Himmesh did add some spice to the show with his comments however went overboard promoting himself shamelessly. Both Vishal and Shekhar were remarkably restrained and stuck to the point. They added lot of value to the show. Ismail also appeared more restrained than earlier and has contributed handsomely to the show. Bappi Da is like a "place-holder". He can be used as a substitute anywhere - he will act as a harmless soul, except when he heaps praise through his songs which all seem to be in the same tune. If anything, he adds "weight" and "dazzle" to the show by the pounds and the metalware he caries with himself. In the end, I feel the show is a bit biased towards the boys. Some deserving girls lik

Continued... Some deserving girls like Sumedha (within limitations) or Nihira (2005) were eliminated much earlier than they deserved. You cannot forget contribution of participants like Mauli. Mauli was upfront in accepting her limitations, but she added great color to the contest with her presentation. Zee should consider a separate category for female and male singers in a future show. But all in all, it has been an extremely watchable show especially, in the last couple of months and I will be missing it this Friday.

makes sense....in fact sa re ga ma did have seperate competitions for men and women...during the days of shreya ghoshal and parthiv(the saawariya singer) the texture of a male voice is different from that of a female and it would be baseless to compare them. Singers like Sumedha, Nihira and Mauli to an extent lose out because of this. Now back to the guys, Aneek has a good voice and Raja has a superb range but Amanat has an original voice. And music has no boundaries or religion. I saw some comments like why do we need a Paki import and stuff. Please judge the voice and not the nationality or religion.

I agree, Himesh gives over buildup, that cannot be acceptable. In fact it is irritating. He should learn from vishal-shekar how to behave and be humble and honest. If he feels too jealeous he will be the loser. Better he should stop singing like dog ( barking )
Himesh doesn't know "S" of singing....I don't know how he is still sustaining....and our crazy population has made his utterly bakwas movie a hit.Whenever i see this,I think not only Himesh,Indian people have also gone mad. remember of him singing "apne toh apne hote hain" after Aneek sang it....you can feel the difference in voice between Aneek and Himesh... A man who doesn't respect his family shouldnot expect respect in return from anyone...LOSER!!!!!

Lot to say against HR but I would prefer saying somethg abt Vishal-Shekar... they have set a perfect "aadersh" for the so called judges of such shows with their gud behaviour....they never shouted or fought with other judges. They remained calm & asked their pupil to take other judges's comments in a ve manner even if others were wrong(specially HR, who always tried to discoureage Raja). Hats off to both of 'U'.

by aali yes we all have been cheated by zee.And the worst thing is that again we lost the best singer.I hope and pray for sweet and humble Raja that this manipulation by Himash and zee makes him even bigger star inthe future.

I think it is definitely told by Himesh to write this kind of article sothat when he next time appears in ths public he will first say that people also have talks alot about me ANEEk Love Triangle SUMEDHA etc.and the same gisipiti irritating commentry... remember when he fires the dialogue on his nose and nasal singing actually he knows that he sings by nose..and whenever he speeks or comments on himself it seems that it is hurting him... chodo yar BESHARAM BESHARAM hota hain tabhito use besharam kahate hain
