Movie makers dont make movies for critics. They make it for themselves and their fans. Farah did not make the movie for you, so no need or virtue in mentioning that the "film failed to impress me" or "the film failed to make me suspend my disbelief"..... WE liked the movie. Period. So the movie is good. Every reviewer comes with his own biases and beliefs. So as is the case with every individual, so is the case with a reviewer. I dont see the point in criticisizing any movie in public. We have seen Khalid Mohammed make duds. If you are so good and know so much, go ahead and make a movie yourself.

A movie, especially a hardcore, unapologetic Hindi movie, is primarily meant to entertain. And if the author and the people in this chain agreeing to him have not been entertained by OSO then either you are lying or you cynically depressed.

I completely agree! I thinks its fashionable to complain about SRK these days. The only other movie this year that comes close to OSO is Chak De. What a surprise, another SRK flick!
Without any prejudice against any individual I can say that this is the most overhyped and crap movie. SRK with all his age showing on his face with huge wrinkles looks almost ugly in many scenes. Even in the publicity material of the film he looks unbearable. His acting style has been the same stammering and sulking type....for all those 15 long years and one is bored no ends to see this old man trying to romance a girl less than half her age without it looking a romance...So please Bollywood Directors have mercy on the audience and take guys like Shahid, Hrithick, Zayed and Abhishek in the leading roles in atleast romantic films and rid us of these oldies who have nothing new to offer......
Well,verdict is loud and clear that Farah Khan is the kind of person who don't have any apna film-making style .She copies ideas from the movies of 70's and her brother SAJID KHAN(director of Hey Babyy) also following the same path.Look at some of the few new directors like of PYAR KE SIDE EFFECTS & BHEJA FRY, they had their own idea of narration.For Farah Khan,it's all about playing safe and earning money.It's not about producing different & classic.Even her husband,Shirish Kunder,approached a different style of story-telling for JAAN-E- MANN.If RK,Bimal Roy and Guru Dutt too would have thought this way then how we could have seen the movie like MERA NAAM JOKER,BANDINI and KORA KAAGAJ. It is not that I dont like formula films.I loved Chak De.I saw it 5 imes.But a director is remembered for her/his originality not for delivering hits.If it would have been the case then Manmohan Desai would have been rated among the finest directors of India. Today ,Bollywood is going through transition & whole world is watching us.Instead of giving something universal and original.People like FARAH KHAN and SRK is continuing to give a 30 yrs. old product in new pack.Sanjay Bhansali in an interview said that people want to see classic stories but producers dont wanna invest in it. With multiplexes bieng there ,atleast now it is the best time that producers think differently & show the world that we are here to show something.And atlast ,can we ever have director like ANG LEE in Bollywood ?
Its been said "Nakal ke liye bhi akal chahiye" If any oen has seen these two movies ; - 1) Mahal ( Ashok KUmar & Vaijenti Mala) 2) Karz ( Rishi Kapoor & Mrs Ambani)
he can easily see, OSO is mix of above 2 movies. But no brain were used at all.

the movie is shit.. i think saawariya is lot better than this.. REDIFF gives rating 3.5.. has it gone mad??? i guess SRK did buy media and everything falling on his ways to make his pathetic movie a success..

i totally agree that oso is a shit movie and the viewers should have given thumbs down for it. the reviewers have been highly paid for all the stars they have given for his terrible film.i think srk this time should refund our tickets noney as he does 2 his distributors wen the film flops.and media has lost all the credibility for praising this movie.it was done 2 hamper sawariya which is much much better product .srk pls do more of chak des with new breed of directors than all ur desperate directors who know tat they can make any kind os=f shit and srk will carry the movie on his shoulders.plssss stop the hypeeeee and torture 2 audiencess.
