I happened to read the reviews and comments by rediff users as listed below. I wonder, if anyone ever saw Picasso's works. Wonder what they would regard it as...a mad mans painting or Art at its best? Adoor falls in the league of great Artist. No wonder very few people decipher his works. It requires a trained eyes/mind to read his painting on the celluloid. It isn,t created to solve any social problem. We are treated to a reality thru the eyes of the master himself. One must read a genuine critique of his work and then watch the movie. It will bring forth a new vision, one that does not belong to the pop culture, but soars above high culture.

A common story indeed is the uniqueness of this film. I won't be surprised if you guys say what is great about Mona Lisa ? To understand pictures by great directors like Adoor, one needs some brain and some great imagination too...
These kind of movies said to solve great Human Vision..The art movie culture that Malayalam follows is from Drug addicted Minds of Columbia and Europe. It is a frantic and dangerous vision which pushes people into Drugs and Liquor
Rediff Forum is the way of expressing our grief about the system. It is a great Duty. I respect you for that, but if you start moderating lke this we need to cool our hearts some where. We are also responsible citizen who want India to improve.
Please concentrate on your works. I think today you have enough time to read rediff mails. You are not elgible/capable for criticising Shri Adoor and this not north india cinema.

I am not a north Indian. A 100% malayalee who has watched Elippathayam to Vidheyan. How many have ou watched?

Mr.Sameer, If you are a malayalee,then you are not fully aware of malayalam audience!If the people are not supporting,how can these highly skilled world class people like Adoor will survive?The general public are aso very class...don't forget it.My point is..a lion share of the true cinema lovers will defenitly have seen almost all films of Adoor, Aravindan,Padmarajan..etc.
