How many of u enjoyed the trailer yday.. it was really rocking ! i never expected the trailer to raise the expectation so much.. shankar and other ppl involved in carving this small trailer has exactly shown bits and pieces of the scenes which will raise our expectations... Yday in japan parliment they have annoucned that the expectations of this film among japanese has crossed Casino Royale which was considered to be the movie which raised so much expectation.. A 50 day run in japan will fetch a whooping 430 crores for the producer...which no indian film has done so far.. and i doubt even if rajini himself can break this again...
Guys for all who fights here for north and south actor...Lemme tell you...In south Rajini is the worst and pandiyarajan, ramarajan are the BEST. In north Amitap is the worst and Govinda is the Best.....ow is it? come on letz fight...

Rahman converted to Islam after his father died and his family was in bad shape. Apparently a sufi saint visited them and blessed them after which they converted to Islam and became successful. Rahman has been through bad times and he still stays humble after all the success, so instead of criticizing him, think of him as a good representative of that religion.

RSS mongers like Shankar Pandey carenothing about music or art. It is infact agreat that he converted to islam but never ever brought the religion to forefront. Does the fact that he is a ocnvert to Islam in anyway reduce the impace of 'vande mataram' album for you?? Shame on folks like you.

dont jump into conclusions like RSS...talk subjectively...talking abt his music - its good but a lot of it are copies or blatantly 'inspired'..even the Vande Mataram song u mention is in the mold of Neil Diamond's 'America' from the "Jazz Singer"...not to mention lifting of Middle eastern tunes.

seeking?? religion like hamburgers are a product..at least semitic religions like Christianity & Islam are...insecure people look for such 'Godly' packages which are made appealing by these agents of God who promise u heaven & stuff...if left unchecked we get a situation like 'clash of civilizations' like we have now..its the failing of Indian democracy that it cannot educate its Hindu citizens against predatory missionary religions.

You talk of him finding religion in the name of Islam as it is a bad thing. It is not like the religion tells the followers to kill people, it is the followers that misinterpret religion. What his religious background is shouldn't affect our views of his music.

of course it is...look what insecure converts like Dhiren Barot, Richard Reid & Adam Gadahn does...the convert is an insecure & confused person..God is not in a box, & one doesnt need to turn his/her back and join a religion that is structured on converting the entire world...this is fostering even more bigotry.
if ARR doesnt score music, you all complain that he forgot india and settled down in London for more money, if he composes hindi film music you complain he is best when composing tamil movies...when he composes for tamil film you all complain he is not like ilaiyaraja...what in the world is he supposed to do...i pity you ARR for getting born in india and having fans like us...
fans, if you like ARR listen to him...if you dont then dont talk ill of him/others...we need to learn talking in a more positive tone...and take every1 at face-value rather than being racists...look at the west...if they want they can make fun of india in millions ways..do they ever do that?...they only do what they are best at...
