I think speaking of negative roles he d done so far my personal favorite is Netri Kan the father role i dont think any one in the world could have acted so well like Rajini Did

the hype surrounding Rajni is unbelievable I mean they say he is a superstar in World etc etc. Of all their talk only two things are facts Rajni is the highest paid actor in India(~15 crores) till date and he appears to be a good guy but remaining stuff is beyond hype he he. rajini is an unparallelled performer,he has given the tamilnadu audience great entertainment through the years and is admired immensely.now ,with movies like sivaji,the international audience will get a chance to watch him,though it is towards the end of a glorious career.his real life story and his onscreen presence is one of the greatest chapters in the history of cinema.

With each article on Rajni, the myth created around SRK and bollywood is shatterring and some people are not able to come to terms with that. The irony is that the best actor (now) in Bollywood is Aamir and he does not have that kind of following.

hi lost. u are really lost. how can u even compare rajni with sharukh.sharuklh is a younger actor and is in atotally different league. he doesnt do those cigarette hurling roles that rajni does.sharukh does roles whih gel with his looks.not like rajni,who wore jeans and at-shirt for the promotional stills of a ridiculously titled film called "jilla collector". if that is the way a collector dresses,god save the nation.thank god, the film never got made.i think u should be comapring rajni with dharmendra who must be his age and does meanigful roles that suit his age.

RAJNI does not need rediff to promote his movies but REDIFF needs RAJNI to promote his sights. This fact is invariably proved by the number of articles related to Rajni and SHIVAJI and even higher number of comments registered for these articles. Thats the truth. Unfortunately some people KOOPA MANDUKAHA dont realize that. Every year in India the BIGGEST movies are either in TAMIL or TELUGU. TELUGu is thew biggest industry as far as the number of movies produced go.

Hey ur Amithab and Shah Rukh are nor even half as popular as our South Indian Heroes. Check ur facts. Kamal Hassan, Rajinikanth, Chiru are popular in Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Dubai, UK and US. They have a huge fan base everywhere. Just ask a Japanese about 'Dancing Maharaja' and hear what they say. ur ugly 'Parata-faced' Amithab, Shah Rukh, Hrithik can not even be compared to the worst of our south indian heroes - like Parthiban,Murali etc.. WE are popular everywhere because because most of the software engineers,IT ppl working abroad are from South India. Hindi-speakin Northies just work as tax- drivers, bathroom cleaners, platform hawkers outside india.
