I fully agree with Mr. Karthik. Rediffmail is degrading itself by posting such news, which is of no use to anybody. Though I appreciate, the driver who helped Rajini to come up. This is not that news to be given importance here.

Do'nt be foolish dude. If u are watching a movie, only think about acting not the charity. He may be your ideal, God etc but not the best actor in the Indian Film Industry. As for as the acting is concerned, he is far far behind the several less known artists. Only foolish unrealistic style does'nt make superstar.

Hello Friends, Simply does not blame Rajani or Amitabh or any other language movies. and even don't comapare Rajni and Amitabh .both are Good actors. Today i read one article in Kannada which influenced me lot about Rajani attitutde towards friendship and he is good human being rather than superstar.
His Friend Rao bahadur helped him a lot. one instance narrated in that article is when he quit the conductor job his friend use to send Rs 200 monthly to rajanikanth until he becomes full time actor.Nother friend Raghunandhan is also kannadiga ,who helped him in early days to stay in the hotel in chennai ,whenever he likes to visit chennai. Today rajanikanth keeping that friend ship intact. ONE OF THE PERSON WRITTEN THAT HE HAS REACHED THAT POSITION BECOS OF HIS WIFE ,THAT IS INCORRECT. One more interesting thing i read about inaguration of 'Raghavendra Kalyanamantappa about 18 Years' back. In that function Present CM TN karunanidhi and Shivajiganeshan were sitting in the dias at that time Rajanikanth has taken the mike told the audience that one of his close to heart person inagurate the same.Every one was thinking that he will call Karunanidhi or Shivajiganeshan ,but he called his friend 'Raj Bahadur ' to inagurate the same.

Amitab is an actor par excellence ,mesmerising the audience with his voice .It is not necessary to compare nay actor with an other one.Dilip for one is an over rated actor but hyped .Frankly I liked Rajesh Khanna in his hey days when he oozed charisma and for acting skills it is Balraj Sahni.There are hundreds of good actors but it is charisma that sets apart the super stars .

One Bollywood actor who had an unique style in acting and dialogue presentation was Raj Kumar.He was not a typical romantic hero but always presented tough characters.Now a days Manoj Bajpay and Kay Kay Menon r the two who exhibits acting talents.Big B's performance in Black was really outstanding.He did not get more opportunities to show his calibre as he was more focused in Masala Movies.

Well agreed Rajni is a GOD for Tamilians ,since I have not seen any of his films I would not like to comment on his acting skills . But some people say he is much better than Kamal Hasan , any comments ???? I feel Kamal Hasan is one of the finest actors in the History of Indian Cinema irrespective of the language of the movie . Also if he earns what is being suggested , why is it that he is not the highest Tax Payer in the Country . Infact this year Hrithik Roshan and the Bachchans were the highest Tax Payers . Even last year Shahrukh , Bachchans and Tendulkar were the highest Tax Payers .
People say he does a lot of Social Work , does that mean he should not pay his Taxes ,paying Tax is the biggest Service one can do to this nation....

m not writing abusive stuff cuz it might get reported as abuse...he does 1 film in 2-3 years...not 10-15 films like some of the actors mentioned in your scrap...and he does not sell creams and toilet soaps...so he income is from the movies he do...
m a big fan of hritik...bachans are like a curse to the film industry...you were talkin about kamala hasan, he was thrown out of bollywood by this very own bachan...
please note that m not a tamilian...not even a symapthiser...but m a biiiig fan of rajni, kamal, prabhu deva, vairamuthu, ar rehman, mani rathnam and list continues...they are all talented...i m probably the biggest fan of vairamuthu...he and ar rehman are too much to handle...

This reminds me of the famous biblical verse the meaning of which goes something like "let the person who has never sinned cast the first stone". I hope those who are suggesting that Rajani's house should be raided for IT are themselves honest tax payers. By the way, Rajani's name has never figured amongst the list of tax evaders and hence one must assume that he has been paying his taxes deligenty. I am sure he has his tax consultants and auditors and whether he's paying his taxes correctly or not is the business of his auditors and taxmen and not that of the general public. Let's first pay our taxes properly before commenting on others.
It's is not right to make such comments only on hearsay or casual conversation.

It is because he does not take them as a salary... He takes thems as a share. If someone really knows, he is a major stake holder in lots of commercial and industrial establishments in and around Tamil Nadu. He takes it over there. I heard he pays more service tax rather than Income Tax here...

Common man, more Tax means more earning - compare the number of movies Amitab and Hirthik act every year (every month). Combined salary of them may be more and hence they pay more tax. Rajini's one movie salary would be equal to several times the per movie salary of SRK/Amitab. That's the matter.

For your information he has already parted half of his wealth towards charity & that to on legal terms. So find figures before talking about figures. Rajni might not be great actor as you think but he is way above it as a human. A genuine human who cares for the common man.

Kalaignar TV is on a mission, to snap up all the big movies for their channel to telecast in three years time. We have reported that the channel has already bought the rights of Sivaji for a huge price. Latest news coming in is that the channel has also managed to obtain the rights of the much coveted Dasavatharam.
This is a very stern reply to SUN TV which had responded to Kalaignar TV%u2019s buying of Sivaji by obtaining the rights for Azhagiya Thamil Magan and Pokkiri.
But the big news is that the amount that Kalaignar TV had to pay for the rights of Dasavatharam is higher than what they had to pay for Sivaji. We do not know the exact details of the amount paid. Is this a surprise or was this along expected lines. After all Dasavatharam has Kamal appearing in 10 different get ups, a first in Indian, maybe world cinema. This news was revealed by Oscar Ravichandran immediately after the deal was settled.
Kamal fans will be glad to hear this news, their Thalaivar seems to be getting his due.
