You appear to someone who feels that only way to get a hit on your stupid column is to defame the bachchans, and that will generate interest among the readers. I think its a rediff corporate policy that as much possible write against bachchan. In your column you mentioned - Amitabh Bachchan's comment -- that those who are upset they weren't invited to the Wedding are in any case not his friends -- I doubt you ever heard the original interview that was shown on IBN. If you want to be a respectable journalist don't twist the spoken words out of context. What bachchan said was - "All who are my friends know why I could not invite them, for others who are complaining that I didn't invite them, that's because they were not my friends in anycase" be a good listener. And for a guy like him who always credits his directors, and salim javed for their scripts and dialogues and for making him what he is...he will never say that he earns more than Hrithik. I feel the quality of journalism has hit rock bottom and the readers are also naive who feel its their right to give an opinion on whatever thrash that's published.

Just read in today's Times of India that Aamir Khan too has bought some land near Pune claimimg that he's a farmer! How about that? All those AB protesters can give him a break & go after Aamir for a change. Villainifying AB was getting too much to handle. Atleast he's not killed/abused/assaulted anyone or indulged in terrorist activities. All he does is act well, visit temples, do lot of ads, buy some land which is harmless to anyone. Regarding his friendship with Amar Singh I guess it's better than being boot-lickers of underworld dons.

Gud job Sooraj. Guys out here don't understand AB. They are either jealous or diehard SRK fans. He has just purchased some land, not commited any crime of driving over ppl or talking to underworld or declaring all over the world that HE IS HINDU unlike others. At the same time he generously donates money for good activities like donation to farmers in AP and to temples .
