Well media from a long time is after Amitabh. He is the only star who can bann media and still be the number one. He is the star who can leave films for years and then come back strong rising the top again. so media has a point to get angry and annoyed. Every move of the BAchchans they have critisized. whether it is going to the temple, or his sunglass or bentley, or his land scam, or his ailing mother or his sons marriage. And now when it seems these poor media reporting is bothering AMitabh, they go for such shameless biased reporting against the Big B. This is unfortunate.
Big B is a great actor, may be a selfish human being, caring only abt his family. He may have forge papers to prove himself as a farmer. But who in this 1 billion country walks different in spite of being rich. what abt our politicians, other film stars, players. how much they have done for the society. but nobody questions that. Bt when it come to Amitabh, the media, the government, the court, the police they jump on him to have a taste of his flesh. But this 65 years old, still dont need anybody for support, he is carring alone. cheeni kum is a small example

Well for all those hardcore fans of AB let me tell u that I do not doubt his acting credentials at all, I know he is a very big actor who has delivered lot many great performances. What is stated here is his nature, arrogance and atttitude. He has stooped very low and that to in this age. When the whole world was condemning Nithari killings he was going ahead and giving statements "UP nei jurm kaha hai" becoz he got a fat amout from Mulayam and Amar Singh to give that Ad. I know some of u will say that AB is a true friend who doesn't forget his friends who helped him in crisis and so on: its bull shit just becoz they helped him clear debts does that mean he'll publically lie in Ad for few bundles of money and becoz his wife's MP status in Rajya Sabha. Then this recent land case, its publically visible how he has cheated poor farmers, just imagine buying land as a farmer, how cheap can one get And top of it he behaves with the media as if the media wants share in his illegal possession of land. In Hindi there is a popular idion "Ek to Chori upar se sina jori" thats what he is. OK appreciating his son performance in Guru or whom he should invite or not for his son's wedding should not be made a big issue becoz thats totally his affair. in west bengal the govenment openly claim on television that the state is very prosperous and very peacefull. but the real fact is that in west bangal we have recent nadigram and singur. so do u think the state government should bequestionable like the BIG B. Yes Big B might have forge some documents for the land, but tell me when in a country a chief minister can gain undue profit from animal fodders or children foods and still remain unaffected, then is this so big. who creats the hallloooo ballloooo AMitabh or the media. if u say amitabh force the media, then the media of the country has no moral and are purchased by any tom, dick and harry. How does West Bengal and govt. come in between agreed WB has Nandigram n Singur but for that they themselves came and gave Ad that WB is very peacefull no filstar came to prmote for them. Agreed that many CM's, PM's, MP's n MLA's are involved in many scams but that doesn't make the effect of forgery committed by Big B any less. And Iam just not commenting any bullshit it was shown by some channel that Aish warya was getting married to a tree first ok fine if ur disagreeing but what abt the Puja he did in Vindhyachal were 51 poor couples were married so that all inauspicious calamity falls on them and Abhi-Ash are blessed. Amar Singh, JayaPrada all were present for that Puja and the priest himself indirectly said that all the 51 couples were married so that the calamity doesn't fall on Abhi-Ash. Then soon after wedding thevisit to Tirupati where all the devotees were left stranded becoz of his n Amar Singh's royal presence, what is that has God ever said that Big B should have a special visit my other devotees don't need me. And under normal circumstances a devotee doesnt even get a fraction glance of Lord Balaji but here a whole ritual was formed for Big B and his family. OK fine controversies arises only if ur big as per ur logic but there is no respect. Big B will never get the respect that Sunil Dutt or Dilip Kumar got and they still get. He will be respected as an actor n will remain an institution for that but as a person he is flop.

Sunil Dutt was a good man. but i doubt how much u know abt them. Ya AB might be selfish man, but dont u think this land in barbaki was bought in 1983, so what the hell government was doing these many years. This is nothing but politicaly headed. i am sure many stars will have many such undisputed property. What abt the report which stated Morani brothers of zee, Sharukh khan, sajid nadiadwala had close door meeting with Daud ibrahim, few years ago in dubai. has the govenrnment questioned anybody. and abt the temple case i dont think any famous personality whether it is govt, filmstar or cricketers goes to any public place with public. They are Vips and this should be there treatment so far india goes with the star system. And Big B is the biggest star of India how can u say he will head for the temple with common poeple. Have u ever seen any Vip in apublic place with u. so have logic while claiming a fact.

may be you are not following the media very closely.there were bigger hullabullo over Gujrat Fake encouter killing and people were punished and sent to jail,in the fodder scam a cheif minister was asked to step down,Jessica lal case was reopened because media's intervention and so was Nanda's BMW massacare..these all were big news where action were taken against the perpetrators..besides there is no such thing as being selfish to some extent and being a forge to some extent..either you are or you are not..its as simple as that..nothing is being blown out of proprtion..a case has been reported, and people here are giving their opinion on that..Amitabh Bachchan has got away with lot of things before, he might get away with this too..its good that media is interveaning,otherwise nobody would know about this

Bachchans are no better than politicians. For that matter he was indeed a tainted politician, getting caught in the BOFORS scandals and all.
He is showing double standards by announcing his lack of interest in politics on one side and doing a political campaign on the other side. It was that political background that helps him acquire lands like this

What can you expect in an article from rediff supporting all the Khans, photographs by Sajjad Hussain and you Mr. AbdullahSaikh. And ofcourse, always supportive Congress.
Well the report is very much biased and if i am not wrong very much one sided. The report states Amitabhs downfall, where as, if box office reports are concerned he is reigning high with Cheeni kum and shootout of lokhandwala with so called new or flop directors. So like the SRK Amitabh dont really depends on the johars and chopras for a hit. Secondly Amitabh has praised his Abhishek for Guru. and whats wrong in that. Abhishek was excellent and all media praised him too. what if the same from his father. ANd if anybody is upset by that, then certainly they are not professional and freinds of the Bachchans. In Dhoom 2 the director of the movie wrote after its release that Abhishek is finished and this kind of comments are dengerous and irresponsible and so if Amitabh defends his son then whta is wrong in that. Rediff stated Hritikh as the highest tax payer which amitabh challenged claiming his contribution to be the most. He has guts to shout for the right no body contradicted that, so where is he wrong. I think This kind of baseless reports will not bother Amitabh or Bachchans. this is a kind of forcefully written baised display or wrong facts may be please certain section or handfull of Film industry people. The reporter should be given awards for his imagination. But the bottom line is that even at 65 years AMitabh can turn crowds and critcs with a cheeni kum or shoot out. anybody in hindi film industry can do it?

Talent..seriously..you think he is talented,he was the most sterotyped actor of his time..even before you saw the film you knew what you were going to watch..Naseerudin Shah was talented,Om puri was talanted, Anant Nag was talented, Girish Karnad and Amol Palekar and Faharukh Shekh were talanted..Amitabh Bachchan didnt become a superhero because he was talnted..its only because the lack of comptetion in mainstream cinema around that time..and since there was no such thing as multiplex cinema around the time when he was at his peak..Being a supar star doesnt necesserly means that one is talanted..if thats the case,maybe Shiney Ahuja or Kaykay menon or Irfan Khan will be suparstar today..Amitabh was a part of a lobby(Sippy's,Chopra,Mehera and Desai) exactly how Shahrukh is today..and thats how both of them became Superstar..not because of there talant
