i thought the film was worth a watch i never found it too long or lengthy it was better than the 2nd at least....i didn't like the review....i mean the film was not bad as said it definitely was an entertainer....and i wouldn't mind seeing it again!
I totally agree with rediff review but choose to disagree on the one particular point - the rating given...it deserves 0 stars...the movie is totally rubbish,2 hours of sheer nonsense and you are left wondering when the torture would end.Not even worth a first look.Avoid this movie if you can people, youll be glad with the money you saved!!

cmon yaar pirates is a great flick ,id pay to watch again and again how captain jack manages to wriggle out of everything.may be it isnt as good as the first one but is definitely a good movie.DEPP ROCKS!!!
Indian critic reviewing a Hollywood flick is like asking a hollywood critic to review a hindi film. LOLZ!! And dont try to overimpress us by writing an review with a dictionary handheld!! LOLZ Again. POOR REVIEW!! Its a great movie. If you are a pirate fan, and have seen earlier two, ya must watch it. By the way Mr. Sen, have you seen the earlier two movies?? Properly??

The third Pirates movie was third rate ! Totally shit movie. I think for the first time I agree with rediff rating. The movie is total junk, what a waste of money and time. This pirate is not able to steal hearts - only your time & money
Lemme share with you, what i think is Mr.Sen's methodology of rating movies...
1) Does this movie involve a burning topic like "What if after marrige you realise that you wanna sleep with someone else?" - You get one star
2) Does it hava a song sequence with showing atleast three generations of people dancing in a single sequence? - One more star
3)Do the song sequences involve almost 100 dancers? You get an extra star if the number of background dancers cross 150
4) Does everyone cry looking at everyone else...how many such sequences are there? how many gallons of glycerine is used?
5) Does it have Mr. Bachan or Mr. Shah"rukh" khan..Mr. Johar? and any of those plethora of damsels and dudes (duds?), then u get a final star..
Put all these together...and u get a five star rated movie...Sadly POTC 3 only manages to take you into an amazingly done fantasy world of pirates...no glycerine...no dancers...so the movie doesn't get a five on Mr.Sen's most revered movie rating scale....understandable...
So, I decided..I'll ignore the guy and go indulge myself in the fantasy once again...What say?

seriously...this guy is total nuts!!!!!he can give 4 stars for KANK!!!!!! POTC 3 is a nice entertainer!!!!kudos to johnny depp and geoffrey rush for their amazin acting!!!!
