Hi guys: Even though I am from TamilNadu, I have a greatest respects to Mohanlal as well as Mammootty. Both are the best actors of their own. Ofcourse, they are much much better than those useless Hindi actors (exception AB, RK, and few). simply dancing & fighting alone will not somebody a good actor. People who critisize Mohanlal, better they need to watch so many good movies from Mohanlal before spell out any words. It doesnt matter, whether somebody is against Mohanlal, Mohanlal has so many times proved that his Acting performance/talent is second to none; all his awards will speak for his talent. Instead of labelling Mohanlal as a Malayalee/Keralite, it would be worth to call him as "Great Actor from India"; he has given so many stunning performances in many movies. Don't worry about these critics, Mohanlal. There are millions of fans like me who always admire your talent, your performace, your efforts to do any role, etc. Hats Off Mohanlal, Keep going to give more good performances!!!!!

Mohanlal is the all time best actor in Indian cinema. There is no doubt about that. Mammootty can excel in typical roles, and ofcourse he is a specialist in sentimence. But Lal created classics in every section whether you take comedy, action, family, even in villainous roles. He is the only actor who got state award for a comedy film(Kilukkam),antiheroic role(Sphadikam). Reason is nothing but whatever the role he does it in its perfection. So in range nobody can reach near to him, not even mammootty. Even Kamal said, when he lost national award(for Hey Ram) competing with vanaprastham of Mohanlal, that 'when an actor like Mohanlal is in other side you cant expect an award for every time'. What more certificate he want, when two of other acting tycoons in india are saying him as an acting tallent. In South India, one of the biggest fans of Lal is ever time best Kannada actor Dr.Rajkumar. Once he said, he used to watch all Mohanlal movies, a great admirer and well wisher of Mohanlal. Again one great fan of Mohanlal in tamil film industry is Maniratnam, who believes that Iruvar was his best film and his comment on Mohanlal, you can read it in so many websites. I used to see some cheap criticism that he is fat and all. For them, i just want to say one thing that he is not going for a glamour role like Hritik, and glamour has nothing related with acting. If so, Nanapatekar,NazirudinShah and all will be considered in worst actor list. So go for the acting,admire the tallent. Ha what a name defines ur character u seem to have a notion towards south heroines and heros i dont know which actress u r talkign is fatty have u by any chance seen any mallu movies see all the languages movies r made and there r lot of bogus movies made in hindi with all 3rd grade actors with cheap scene and trash which u cannot sit andwatch with family atleast we dont have such ones in malayalam movies the amt of cheap songs and cheap dance double meaning words 17 kissing scenes and what not see one emraan hasmi and mallika sherwat movie and then watch one good malayalam movie u will know the difference so unless u dont k now abt south industry dont comment on it and stop copying bigg boss ravi kishens dialoge he is another one big AH

You ignorant felows there, Mohan Lal is the Damned BEST Actor this country has ever seen. Most of the Hindi movies don't match up to the Classy films made in Malayalam and Tamil. The crap movies you get to see in North India are made only for the North audience. Nobody watches them here except the chep guys.
Mallu movies are ok except the language... the language I don understand.. why they do not make movies in hindi or punjabi, bengali , oriya , gujrati so that I can understand them. Think about that , ok?

If you don't understand Malayalam, learn the language. We can't make movies in the languages you understand just for your sake. Because WE don't undrestand them. If you are so interested in watching these Class Movies, I have 4 suggestions: A] Learn Malayalam and Tamil ! B] Try to get these movies dubbed in the languages you prefer !! C] Wait till Priyadarshan remakes them in Hindi !!! D] Forget it, you people can't understand them. Freeze whichever option you want! Right Sir?

Try not to watch Malayalam movies Mr. Spooky. You are not good enough to understand them. After you grow up, you can watch them on DVD. And if you prefer not to watch the Classics,.... Well then DO NOT grow up.
It was funny to compare Kerala and Kashmir as equal, both are beautiful, but i remember a sanskrit verse, Crow is black and Koyal(Kuil) is also black, but when the spring comes Crow is a crow and Koyal is Koyal. As far as Mohanlal is concerned,for Malayalees Mohanlal is the greatest actor like Jesudas is the greatest singer, but they forget that there are better actors than him in Kamalahasan,Amitabh,Sivaji and Dilip Kumar

I am sure you have not seen Mohanlal movies much. Let me make it clear to you, I am not keralite. I am a kannadiga. I have seen movies of all the actors you have mentioned here. I am sure Mohanlal is equally talented as Kamalahasan if not more and Amithab, Shivaji or dilipkumar are nowhere close to him. Because he is keralite and malayalam movies do not have as wider a market as Tamil or Hindi he is not widely seen. And I do not understand how you got the impression that Kerala is being compared to Kashmir. YOu should stop imagining things.

Hey PP, you have really closed the boundaried here. Very few ocassions that I have seen any non-malayalee speaking so good about a Malayalam actor. I used to turn deaf ear to those who simply want to make fun of malayalam. Its becoz of sheer ignorance and lack of knowledge. Every language I am sure teaches one not to make fun or dislike other language.

Funny to see this guy's comment and his deliberate attempt to project kamalahasan as the most talented actor and the whole Indian people stand for him. Understand the fact that kamal is meant only for tamilian's if u believe on ur argument "mohanlal is only for malayalees". Try to appreciate good things and talented people. Mohanlal is a class actor and he is natural to the core whether it is comedy/serious/action or larger than life character.
Good that majority of the foreigners hardly heard about kamalahasan, mohanlal or most of the indian actors mentioned over here. Otherwise they could make a full length comedy film on Indias "unity in diversity" if they read these comments.
