I dont get it !!! Since when did reality shows start representing national pride? And whats with the dress .... why do our miss worlds/ film stars wear the most traditional dress abroad and wear mini skirts while at home ?
People are just exploiting the west using racism or religion to gain attention while exploitation continues every day - several times - at home.
Shilpa shetty is perhaps chilling in some vague island in the bahamas in her bikini sipping beer and counting her money :) ...lets do something productive in our lives instead of rubbing national pride on others ...

The impression you give is: 1.you don't want people to wear what they like. 2.West does'nt exploit in the name of racism and religion. 3.You don't like her to go to Bahamas(?) for a break and enjoy life. I hope you don't mean that. Give some productive suggestions for her to do,may be, based on what you are doing in your life. Sadbuddhi
Shilpa, You have done great job, You made us proud. Now indians will recognize you. Till now our indian producers are running behind fake beauties. Do Like this in future also and make our nation proud.
Whaver said about shilpa is good that we should be proud of her being Indian,but i am proud of Aishwarya,Sushmita(being an Indian ) , shilpa is a hypocrite iwatched all the episodes of big brother u should see her wearing dresses that showed her navel and she was trying to cover them by pulling her T shirt. this lady has done lot of item nos in Hindi films and she is talking abt our culture ( if people go back and watch her films they wld think that this is our culture).I should say she acted very very well in this programme here Jade said i am sorry will ever shilpa say sorry ever? Well ...the show must go on ...but still it has left me perplexed about the total happenings which took place. To be more precise its more confusing rather than stating it across directly that SHILPA HAS WON IT. As an INDIAN I too feel proud for her but there are other aspects of this greatly created story of Shilpa. Shilpa was no where in Bollywoood at this time but this show has made some producers/directors more confusing what needs to be achieved maximum from SHILPA after this result. Well I donn think this is basically going to sharpen her acting skills because whatever acting skills she has got we have already seen it through BAAZIGAR and now thgh Big Brother. It can only add value to her personal bank account not to an ordinary Indian who donn even know who shilpa is except some so called.. fans. She has neither invented nor discovered anything new for that matter but only added some spice to her life. And everyone knows how long effect of spice remains . It will still continue to be more confusing when we be forced to see some panel discussions related with this topic in some so called responsible and great news channels. So it's time to be more in confusion rather to be in conclusion.

Hey Jitendra...u are one confused man. U don't have any idea whatsoever about what u r saying... Such things are bound to happen... Success is success. Its not easy to stay amongst people who are consistently making remarks about the way u look, way u talk or way u eat. I don't know why people are worried about her bank accounts. Is it because of jealousy... Come on guys, there are billionaires in our society who don't do anything with their money.. Ask them to do some good for country.. Shilpa is an active member of AIDS Awareness campaign alongwith working for animal welfare for PETA. The prize money from Big Brother is all hers, and depends on her how to spend. If you have some extra money, donate it man.. Society needs it. People must look at themselves before accusing others.. If u can't do anything, why expect others???
The confidence shown by your Mom in you deserves equally big hand like you. The way you tackled the situation diplomatically, is highly appreciable.
