great going guys. you have just proved a point - the TRP of star tv is at an all time high courtesy you; those who sit in front of the TV n compare n contrast. the strategy is brilliant, enuff to teach a biz dev mgr, a thing or two about brand building. so when you find time off mud slinging at AB or SRK, do clap for star tv at least a couple of times - the fanatics, you may carry on your fight between hinduism n islam, let the level headed do the clappings...
STAR POWER DOES NOT MEAN KBC SUCCESSFUL HOST POWER. YES SRK IS STAR, YES HE HAS DONE GOOD MOVIES YES HE IS BOX OFFICE KING.
BUT FOR KBC HE IS ZERO. on KBC he looks like a joker, he over acts makes weird faces which looks so artificial. It was awful to watch that show. more focus is on SRK, MUSIC-RAP, SRK HUGS, BODY MESSAGE YOU ARE PUTTING TOO MANY THINGS TO MAKE IT WORK IT IS FAILING.
When AB was doing the show the entire focus of spectator and audience was on game he was focussed on question despite the charishma of host, but with srk the focus is on host, he has become bigger than the game. the thought on the mind of spectator is what will srk do next and the importance of next question is lost. this is sad and bad for game, after all we see the show because the game is good , host is only a medium to get the audience involved.
SRK is very insecure he becomes sarcastic at times and then say a lot of nice words to make the contender forget the humiliation. It was very evident in the episode with the Telugu guy. SRK lacks the down to earth attitude while maintaining the dignity AB can do beautifully. this makes him ultimate. SRK IS THAT EGOISTIC BREEZE WHICH WILL BECOME STORM AND WIPE KBC OUT OF TV SCREEN.
Its true that he is no Amitabh, Yes!!! He is Sha Rukh. I am no fan of Shah Rukh, I dont appreciate his acting skills although his movies are entertaining becoz of the gloss and the music of the story and no doubt his role. He hams, inspite of all this I say I enjoyed his performance on KBC3. The other day I watched the show on You Tube. It was good. Why cant we Indians come home after a long tiring day come home, relax in our sofas and enjoy something that hilarious? Why do we always prefer only those saas bahu stuff? why do we not accept change. With much regards to an Icon like Amitabh, how long are we gonna watch something same. Why not taste something different? Lets sit back and enjoy this new version with a different outlook. We always dont need to compare things. View them as they come, life is more light hearted then the regular huzzle buzzle. cheer up
Amitabh gave KBC the aura and gravities associated with the show around the world and beyond. Family audiences from 16 to 75 would wait for that grand personality to emerge after the initial jingle and that famous baritone to boom in their living rooms. Amitabh made the small screen look like 70mm. And therein lies the difference. He endeared himself to the TV audience with his larger than life personality and yet utterly believable humility.

good or bad... dunno. but with so many people watchin, n commenting, the TRP is at least better than AB ka KBC - this is for sure. at least people did not sit to compare during the times when he was around. n this is the exactly what star tv wanted - that you guys will sit n compare, praise, abuse - but WATCH IT. cool strategy star tv! brand guys need to learn a thing or two from you....
