Bachan is GOD in human form! an avtar beyond comparison! a true incarnation! there never was and will never be one like him! he is more than just an actor - he is the most innovative, most creative, most versatile, suave, urbane, charismatic, the most intelligent of all Indian actors, most committed artist - there is nothing about cinema he doesnt know about - he can also sing (his deep resonating voice has the magic and mystic pull of a saint), dance (amazing incomparable skills! it is a tragedy that no director has made use of his dancing skills to make a full-fledged dance drama - he can put to shame any well-trained dancer) - even a Bharat Ratna will not be enough to justify his talent!

honestly srk is yet to impress me but as far as amitabh is concern i hvn't seens much of his movies but his super duper hits of 70's they were all lost n found stories. i wonder if amitabh made a movie in which old lady lose eye sight for no reason n get it back again with specific no reason...one could only laugh at it!!!

I don't understand few posts here accusing Bib B of cheap publicity and linking abhishek's marriage with the publicity and donating money to poors?? Firstly it's Chopras giving gift to Bachchan and I would say it is more of a Chopra%u2019s film (there is big list of other actors acting in this film) than Mr. Bachchan. It matters more to Chopra than Big B. So Chopra should be target of publicity accusation, but i even wouldn't blame Chopra. This is the SHOW BUSINESS! They are in the business by choice and if they (actually anyone in show business for that matter) want to do the publicity by any means it%u2019s their right. And I wouldn%u2019t consider it as a cheap publicity for Chopra. (it cost him whopping 5 crores). That%u2019s how show business works. Everybody wants to do publicity, some can afford it some can%u2019t, so some win and some lose. It%u2019s not illegal to do the publicity %u2013 cheap or not.
If you are concerned about one person/family accumulating wealth, then again it%u2019s business like any other. You like it or not we are capitalist country and this is bound to happen. Tatas and Ambanis are accumulating the wealth too. You would argue that they are adding value to the Indian Economy etc., so is the show business. It has created thousands of jobs supporting literally hundreds of thousands of families in India and means to entertain crores of people of India.
Every business has its defined/undefined rules on which it runs. If anyone doesn%u2019t like show business or the way it works then keep your noses out of it, stop watching movies (donate your money/time to good charities/cause), stop reading related news and stop posting stupid comments.

Mr. Human (Sick!)! First of all dont try to preach us about God, death, age, etc. Secondly! you don't know anything about Vinod Chopra wether he can afford it or not? He has lots of hit movies under his belt and the profit he earned was not kept in your bank account but his own. Anyway stop crying foul every now and then. By the way, I think you require some spiritual lessons not him. He is very down to earth and humble person. And seeing your post, I can easily say that you are not humble at least.
I have been reading rediff articles for more than a year now and have come to a conclusion that they are biased against him. Whenever they write something about him, there has to be some negativity attached. Look at the above article - it's supposed to mention that a very good director gifted a car to Amitabh because he liked his work. But what does the article end with? It ends on a negative note.
I understand that the rivalry between Big B and SRK is media created, but rediff appears to be biased in favour of SRK in covering this rivalry. Read the articles which have SRK mentioned in it. Don - the sequel was a pathetic movie and deserved the fate it needed (it's a flop), but rediff went on praising it.

A hit or a flop is not defined by the number of weeks it runs. This is just like any other business - total collections less total cost. Check out ibosnetworks - Don - srk is not a hit, it is above average, that is it has just recovered its cost

I am not a SRK hater and certainly don't like him. What I am stating is the way rediff is portraying him as someone who can replace Amitabh. Don of SRK is a flop, ask the industry. You can also ask SRK himself and he will tell you that. I have high regards for farhaan as a director and became a fan of his after watching Dil chahta hai. This regard for him grew after watching Lakshya (I know the movie didn't do well). I don't say a movie is good or bad just because it's a hit or a flop. If we just went by that then, Aashiqui was a hit!!! But will you call it a good movie???
Don was a pathetic movie, ask the people who are not the die-hard fans of SRK. Ask the people who go to a theater to see good movies - be it SRK's or AK's or AB's or HR's or for that matter Salman's (who surprisingly has given more hits than SRK!).

When stupid politicians who don't have education, morality, sensitivity, intelligence, grace, and who do not respect the people who voted for them, who are the main reason they are sitting there, go about shamelessly flaunting their wealth and using power wrongly, what is wrong with Bachchan, who is a true professional in his field, who has never betrayed his professionalism or his fans, to get a gift like this? Has he ever taken the position he is in for granted? Has he ever shown disrespect to his audience? He has always mentioned that whatever he is, is because of the fans and nothing else and that he will try to better himself with every film for his fans' sake. Now, isn't this gesture enough? Compare this with the politicians and you will understand. Agreed, the money film stars are making, the life they are leading, is luxurious. They definitely are the lucky ones to be in such a high paying industry. But then, it is just that they are the selected few, and anyone who reaches such heights gets such a standard of life. This is the same in Hollywood too. It is not that Hollywood stars are very socially conscious people. They too live in mansion that have 10 bedrooms and 3 swimming pools when the average American's hard earned money is spent on financing the war in Iraq.
So, let us appreciate that at least Bachchan is being sincere in his chosen field and hasn't betrayed the audience. As an actor, he has displayed histrionics that we all treasure.
