Hey boys... grow up... Why do you have problems with media highlighting BigB ? He is a legendary actor. If you dont like him why do you take pain to read this article and post crap against him. Jelous about a human beings achievements ? There are zillions of other indian movie goers who admire him and are interested to read about him. Why do you have problems with that ?
Agreed he is a human being... But he is a Ace actor... Agreed he too had some flops... But see his performances in any recent movie... Truely professional.. perfected...
I am a south Indian and My elder bro is a famous movie actor in the regional language. I know what an actor is in real life. I dont know about him as a person. I am not interested too. But I appreciate his work. BigB is a class apart. A class by itself.
I am interested to read about him, and so are millions of other readers. If you dont like him, keep you *sses off. no one forced you to read it !!!
Big B's Rolls gift was a stunt? Vidhu Vinod Chopra handed over the keys of a Rolls Royce with much fanfare to his lead star of Eklavya, Amitabh Bachchan, thus adding to the numbers in the Bachchans' already overflowing stable.
It is said that Amitabh signed Eklavya, for a token fee of one rupee only but looking at the bigger picture it seems that it was ploy to save some income tax.
Actaully if Big B had charged a fee of Rs 3.5 crore for acting in a film, he would have been liable to pay 33.66 per cent tax on it, which would amount to almost Rs 1.2 crore.
In this case, even a Rolls Royce worth Rs 3.5 crore attracts no tax penalty since it had been given as a gift by Chopra.
But in a weird twist to the tale, we hear that the swanky car is back where it came from, its show-room.
When quizzed Big B says, "Vinod is going to gift a car to me and I'm very happy about it. But this Rolls Royce isn't the actual car that Vinod has gifted me. It was just a token gesture. My actual gift will only arrive later.%u201D
Some say this kind of desperate flamboyance is typical of Chopra. In trying to create a hype for his film around the Rolls Royce, he jumped the queue. santabanta.com
Why don't you guys tax director Chopra & Big B & SRK who are minting money every minute & spare the poor salary class who can't even afford a second hand maruti 800 ('coz the fuel price is so high)... Why such injustice to salaried & all the exemptions & discounts, etc to rich & famous.
Do we know if import duties were paid for Bentley & RR!

THAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE MAN.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, READING STUID STUFF LIKE THIS
There can be a good chance that instead of paying AB by money fully, he has been paid partly by the car and it is shown as a gift to avoid taxes. Getting a Rolls Royce Phantom as a gift ...hmm.. makes me think...Vidhu Vinod Chopra surely is no fool.
It's the we common people who tempts these high profile people to get into involvements of any type of publicity whether it is cheap or of good standards. Let them try out their bunch of arrows aimed to us. Except worrying for such attacks, we should just be attentive to skip at the very last moment to give an easy passage to the arrow. Definately there are lot many on the way of every arrow of such intentions to get hurt. Let them recieve these to bounce back with some more arrows of publicity with more power to make the things more exciting for our entertainment. Who cares....!!!!!
