I heard that Raj Kumar Hirani was going to cast SRK for Munnabhai MBBS and SRK giving reason for back pain didn't wanted to do the movie. But others saying that because Raju Hirani as a newby won't be a good idea for SRK to act in his movie as his career was goin sky rocketing and he didn't wanted to take risks by inacting as a gangster.
Some say whatever happens, happens for good. So SRK was not Munnabhai and our own Sanjay Dutt became Munnabhai. Now one should wonder if SRK was the Munnabhai then I am sure the comic was not go well and the movie wouldn't have become cult and super hit with sequel made. So the themse is SRK cannot do comedy. If u don;t believe then just put him in Munnabhai's frame and think for a while if he could have pulled the film. Then sure Circuit would have taken the cake out of SRK.

After failing to impress through movies since Kal Ho Na Ho (KANK goes tot eh Bachhans, SRK tried to keep his name floating throgh KBC. We all know the plight of this pathetic show. It is now off the small screen. Despite terrific marketing efforts,Star TV lost lots of money within four months. Now with the interviews like this and some songs in which he has gathered his acquaintacnes for his upcoming home productions, SRk is trying to keep his name going. But he os waning, fading and with wrinkels coming on his face, he os no longer a magical star of the nineties. If we comapre the varieties and hits of this century(not the 20th, Amitabh is far ahead which is a slapping reply to thos who think Big B was the superstar of yeaterday. As long B is acting, he has the ability to become the mega star of today. He has made and can make many stars of yesterday. SRK is nothing.

Big B made KBC...KBC was not an established show in India...Big B saved himself from the streets with KBC.
Hello mr sharukh.Ur a gud romantic actor not a legend or mega actor or complete actor.Do films like what mr kamalhasan sir has done.He is a complete legend actor.Choose different characters like him.
Can any one say which was Amitabh's last solo hit, wherin he is the only lead male actor ??? I cant remember anything in last 15 years .. I belong to the 20 something generation.

Hi, This is why I feel people want to remember only what they like. To be safe, I also want to make a statement that I am not writing this to tell how great Amitabh is against SRK. Did you see a movie called Baghban which had only Amitabh in each frame ? And how about much recent movie Black? He is more than 60 but still has the ability to make movies hit on his own. Even if he has other youngsters in the movie, when Amitab is in the scene , no one could match him. See the movies like Banti aur Babli where Amitabh demonstrated his class irrespective of Abhishek and Rani being the leads. Even in KANK he was the relief in otherwise nonsensical movie. Movies such as Sarkar even if some other heroes were in, they were non-entities. I will call those movies as Amitabh's movies. Only Dilip Saab made such performances earlier irrespective of age and met changed demands in film industry. regards, Raja Mohan

Amitabh is the only Indian actor who had the major release of 6 movies in one year in the 80's check wikipedia which were all hit or super hit. SRK or non actor can or will ever do. So I would say everyone blowing SRK's trumpet should shut up now.

Amitabh would not have been named "superstar of the millenium" by the BBC in a worldwide poll if he was not a superstar. He would not have been honoured by the French with their highest honor "Legion of Honor" (along with American icon Clint Eastwood this year) if he is not a superstar. He has reinvented himself all through to prove to be such a force that even good actors such as Shahrukh have been forced to imitate him by remaking his old blockbusters and getting into TV shows which he discarded, albeit with distrastous results in both cases! All great Emperors had pretenders and actors like Shahrukh who have potential have better realize their own than be one to Amitabh.

renab, i am saying amitabh was a superstar once upon a time. yesterday it was Dileep kumar, then Rajesh Khanna, then Amitabh and today its SRK and tomorrow its going to be someobody else. He can now act character roles or in a supporting role in a multi starrer. Amitabh cannot a deliver a solo hit any more.. How can someone watch an ageold guy for two hours.. Move on.. the generation is waiting.

shahrukhkhan is the most fablous actor of indian cinema he is very hard working actor, sober in nature.
