what i think about this movie is the " its great work done with the use of optimum(minimum) resource utilization." its a great deal to make such a movie.
"Rajat Kapoor is a fine actor, but this is him at his absolute worst, groan-provoking in his affected portrayal of a music industry scoundrel" Rajat Kapoor did great. He did look and sound mean and selfish.
"and with a mistress angle that really doesn't make as much sense in India" Hmm, so you find the mistress angle out of context in India context, but the whole plot of adultery/extra marital affairs etc quite fitting in the context , is it Mr. Sen? You should watch out for where girl goes Mr. Sen.
And you find Milind Soman's acting good - thats the only guy who doesn't really fit in his role. He is no actor. He is a model, he has looks. But he cant act.
If you feel Ranvir Sheorey's character should have been given more screen time, aren't you saying that the plot should be based on the star cast. FYI, a movie has a plot first and then characters in the plot are casted, not the other way round. Having read your "review", I bet you are a fan of Govinda, Salman Khan, David Dhawan and the likes and you certainly cant appreciate a film like this. Mr. Sen, next time you are in Bangalore, let me know, I would love to invite you for dinner on Friday night.

Completely Disagree with Raja Sen, Raja Sen plzz carry ur dimag while rating movie else stop rating movies.Go home & sleep. U r nothing but a idiot.
and your review sucks !!!Pathak is simbly brilliant . I've not laughed in a movie so much for a long time. What more does one want sen bhandu . The other characters could have been given their share of better jokes but then pathak wouldn't have stood out so prominently and it wouldnt be a true "Bheja" Fry. Because this film is Vinay pathaks alone and he fried it absolutely.
Well I havent watched this movie, yet but as I was reading the film review in siliconeer magazine, I thought I ve already seen this plot, and then I remembered I ve seen diner des cons a few years ago, and eureka a complete copy. So what can i say else then, please be original bollywood, I know you can, ref to rang de basanti, lage raho munnabhai

I watched the movie last week and it wan abosulately fantastic. Intelecutal comedy and Vinay Pathak was in his best. My friends have also liked it very much. As always , Raj Sens's review always tells you the opposite. Time and agaain it has been proved. So when he says something is BAD , Go for it , it would be real good.
Your rediff review are very often misleading. Bheja fry is fun movie. it should be at least 3 1/2 stars if not less. great acting and good comedy. Please just don't be critical of movies just because you have to write a review, be honest and if you can't think like most of the audience better get another job.
Please,those who talk about great movies should check their diaries which movies are called great in this hypocrete society...films like don and KANK or yashraj films are great...coz they are made by big banners and can do great publicity.Bhejafry is a film that stands on its own merit.Last year it was Rang De Basanti that shook us hard.Bheja fry is another kind of attempt towards good cinema.People should change cinema but Cinema should also change people...Along with RDB it is that kind of film.So Stand and clap for it.
