Ajay & Kajol are a great couple in the real life but for the role for Ram & Sita, a big NO. That's because on screen & in epics it is said that Ram is a well built man & supposed to be a very handsome. What I personally feel that Ajay wouldn't suit the role of Ram & can't really expect him on golden throne with a bare chest which is quite uncomfortable. I really appreciate his acting skills but can't really imagine him as RAM!!!
mr. rajkumar santoshi, i always considered u as a brilliant director. but why is it that just becoz of one's liking for an actor or actress the industry casts the wrong person in good roles.
ajay is a good serious actor but definitely doesnt look like lord sri ram in anyway. and kajol, god save me, is one of the country's most over rated actress. see for a lady who has the grace n dignity of a queen along with acting.
i feel sorry for bollywood becoz many talented people r left out for the sake of the director's or producer's favourites ultimately the film suffering n its international appealing losing.
ram n sita r difficult roles n need polished, versatile actors and not bollywood melodrama queens n kings.
Santoshis selection always great , I think the ajay & kajol realy 21st Centurian Ram - Sita after dharmendra hema ideal married couple for bollywood.
Ram was ideal for son , brother ,husband & king of justice only ajays nature matched with ram he had already done variety & challenging role in the legend of bhagat singh , deewangee, lajja , company , main aisa hi hoon . hum dil de chuke sanam , zakhma etc.
Playing Ram & Sita not a big task for ajay & kajol but challenging task for Rajkumar Santoshi & I am 101% sure he can do very well.
ok so to be honest its good that Santoshis makin a movie on the two but it may also be that the audience may not accept ajay and kajol in that get up....i donno but i have to see THIS movie!
director thinks before doing anything... if he good he definitely can make these great artists kajol and ajay to incarnate themselves as sita and rama respectively....kajol can do any roles... she is probably not probably she is the best actress in the world...
