Firstly, it's Sush in the pic and NOT Kajol! Get that straight.
Also, Kajol and Ajay are very good actors, so, I don't think it'll be difficult for them to potray Sita and Ram. Besides, their potrayals would have nothing to do with their own personalities.
ajay devgan definitely wont be the right choice . whenever i think of ram as a character i believe his face should have honesty & innocence something that shahrukh or hrithik have. if shahrukh is ram then kajol definitely should be sita as she suits the character which needs a strong personality . but if hrihik does it then vidya balan would be perfect for sita , as hrithik & kajol would definitely not match
We cannot see ajay as ram and kajol as sita, my suggestions are Hrithik can be seen as ram and kareena kapoor as sita, sanjay dutt as ravana. excellent performacens and film is super hit.
Ajay Devgan is one of best actors in our country. He can perform any kind of roles without overacting like some of our so called superstars(hammers).he has proved his versatality with wide range of roles. In real life also he has a good image as a family man & is respected for his calm & quite nature. so i believe he is the best one fit the role of lord Ram.he & kajol will make a good pairing.also,Raj Kumar Santoshi is a very gud director.he will present them well.

What yaar. Going crazzy or what?!. Sallu and Aish?? Do not insult Either Ramayana or sallu and Aish pair.
It is Ramayan. Not Hum Dil De chuke sanam.Ramayan and its values are respected not only in india but also in Sree lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaya(maleshiya), parts of china, Burma(myanmar) including all south East asian countries, Mauritius.
Andaman is the word derived from HanDamaan, a malay word(Unfortunately not Indian Word) which is ultimately derived from Sanskrit/Tamil stands for HANUMAAN.
Father of nation, Hero of Gandhigiri, Mahatma Gandhi, used to worship(parayan, aaradhana aur upaasna karte the) ramayana. Who very often chanted Hey Raam while dying.
I can't imagine Ajay in Ram's role, albeit I can digest Kajol as Sita. Ram's character is a sophisticated gentleman, calm, cool, patient, serene and whatever good qualities strike to your mind. Whereas Ajay is vibrant, violant, vigorous, varied and valiant. Although Ramayana has a war between Ram and Ravana, Rama's war is a sacred and almost non-violent. Leave Ajay to conduct his own fights (without depending on duplicates) and to set a violant model. Let us imagine Ajay and Kajol as Ajay and Kajol - a nice fillami couple!!
