if on has seen the old don.one cannot help laughing in the begening.the coldness in the voice and the face of srk is missing as compared to AB.if one puts orlando in the place of brando.one can sit and laugh than being gripped by suspense.AB rocked even without Hi Tech.but SRK is puppet
The movie tests the patience of the audience and worse does NOT deliver. A little twist in the end is all that sticks in ur imagination (to check whether this negates all the questions in the mind). The trailer creates the hype that the film will have more moments like those shown in the trailer.....in the end the trailer is THE ONLY highlight of Don. Performances r terrible...starting right from SRK, Boman Irani, Kareena Kapoor, Om Puri (wasted pathetically). Dont know what u found good in Kareena's performance....no song can be remenbered after u exit the theater...except the background music of Don...Don.
Actually the title of the review is partially right. It is a silly film and just that.
The reviewer seems to be going overboard praising Shah Rukh Khan which is understandable given her age and the incredible crush Muslim women have on one of their ilk. I particularly found it funny when she says SRK danced better than Bachchan in the 'Khaike Paan Banaraswala' song making a comment on Khan's energy levels and the absence of it in the latter.
When Tasneem has not seen the original Don how on earth can she come to that conclusion?
Religious extremism seems to be the basis of her review and I wonder what is her basis of calling Priyanka Chopra wooden when she was pretty chic and sassy throughout the film, belting out an understated performance in sharp contrast to the contrived action of the hero, who is a stylish icon but a ham when it comes to histrionics.
Comparisons are odious and let the new and old Don co-exist on the canvas of Indian film industry as they would, whether we like it or not.
In keeping with the modern day patterns of film making the new Don has replaced the old one with a lot of gloss and glitz. The old one is still a comfort, despite its vintage!!
Well go watch the original Don and was your face cause you must be drunk if you think Shahrukh is more energetic then Bachan ever was.Big B is the original Don and no one can beat him
It is imeperative for an emotional creed of Indian to blindly follow some. The copy of Don had no punch in it. The best part of the movie was the end and nothing else. SRK never was convincing as the Don. To me he looked like a loafer chutput goonda types.His performance is no match to AB's.
the movie is good not only in its very style and cinematography,it is also good in terms of its performance
shah rukh does his job well.he doesn't try to copy bigb which would have been much easier but he gives th role of don his own style of evil ways (through which he broke into bollywood).we alwys knew he had been a villain first and then a romantic he proves it again that he can be the best likeable villain
the rest of the cast does its job well

watch it even if u have watched the original coz farhan gives it such twists which couldn't have been imagined
I think u r a crap and die hart fan of Shahrukh, what u say that Shahrukh is much batter then AB in Khaike song and what u say Shahrukh does good act in both the character, sorry boss why u making fool to the people, Shahrukh looks good in Don but in Vijay its looks like a childish act. The review perfect review is Shahrukh done some hard work in movie and fantestic locals and frames otherwise the movie is below to the expectations.

Let anyone say whatever they feel like, I'll say SRK's DON is the best one. Ihave seen both the Dons .SRK's DON is thousand time better than amitabh's Don.Over acting has been done by amitabh not by SRK. What I feel ,what SRK has done and achieved in just fifteen years amitabh could not achieve that iby the same period.
