hi there you can say that the performance of shahrukh was good in the film but you just cant say that it can become a cult movie like original DON i suggest you see the original once & then reweite the review again your saying that shahrukh is more energetic in the song KHAIKE PAAN does not go with me i doubt if many people would agree with you it may seem that i m critisizing SRK but its not that as he is one of my fav actor but against Big B he is pale... i would anyday prefer to watch real DON again rather then watch the new one
The review by Tasneem reads like one written by a totally smitten fan of SRK and Kareena. Honestly, SRK has done nothing in this film that he hasn't done before and Kareena hardly looked the seductress that she did in some songs from Asoka with SRK. Despite being an ardent SRK and Farhan fan, I find this film a let down from the two brightest Khans in Bollywood. Farhan needs to pull up his socks to the Dil Chahta Hai levels and SRK should try and control some of his hyper energy from his performances to make it look really menacing / thrilling!
i was very happy after reading the don review given by you. it was infact a perfect review. in all the other reviews, there was a tendency of comparison between both the films. in don, shahrukh rocks. amitabh is good in his own way but there is no need for a comparison. i enjoyed the film more cos i hadnt seen the old don. it was a great effort by shah rukh and farhan akhtar. i think they have to be appreciated rather than just blaming them with comparisons. all reviews just compared which was wrong.
After reading this article I can only think of one word for the subject line for rediff editors: CHAMELEON. This article has been written after the phenominal success of the movie which was screapped by ypur editors.As it has been said by SRK that " Don ke critic ki sabse badi galti yeh hai ki woh don ka critic hai" . Right Mr Sen and Ms Verma.
