After reading this article I can only think of one word for the subject line for rediff editors: CHAMELEON. This article has been written after the phenominal success of the movie which was screapped by ypur editors.As it has been said by SRK that " Don ke critic ki sabse badi galti yeh hai ki woh don ka critic hai" . Right Mr Sen and Ms Verma.
God can't save our country atleast Bollywood...it is few decades lagging behind relatively to world of cinema...neither the acting nor the technique is up to standards. Malayalam, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu have proven themselves in film-making not bollywood thou. Bollywood never realizes that the world is watching them wondering about this funny place and not for any excellent work.
Don't be too biased towards Sharukh, I am also his fan. But it's a OK movie, considering the climax twist, else not a great one compared to his earlier hits like DDLJ, Dil to Pagal Hai, Mai hoo na...
read the review.had watched the paid preview on thursday night. cudnt find anythg similar b/w movie n review excpt thgs abt SRK. reviewer MUST watch the original to realise why kareena is a complete let-down in the role that's meant to be done differently, why rampal seems so out of place and why prianka chopra's mona is done exactly the way it should have been played. SRK rocks, YES!
Here comes the review from a 19 year old kid who is a SK diehard fan. Amitab's 'DON' is a alltime great movie which is praised by the people from all walks of life. The performance of the new 'don' is poor in all parts of India.The huge opening collections are due to the hype created before the movie release.The fact that Amitab's movie is remade tells he is a legend. Let's wait and see how many of SK films will be remade.

I agree, SRK is a crap actor and as RGV said that is nothing without packaging. 19 year old kid contradicts heself many a times, how can she say SRK is better if she has not seen old DON. Too young and too ignorance beware !! of tomorrow
the latest Don was sold to us as the old DON in new packaging and now as a faithful SRK fan you want to deny this fact when the film bombs and falls apart.This in short term is cheating, SRK should not have tried to wear AB's shoes and when he fails blind followers should not cry for open reviews.This films fails in all the aspects.Direction is pathetic, acting of SRK is not worth mention and the stolen music fails to recreate nostalgia. It is an experiment that has failed miserably.SRK does not rock, he stones in DON
