Doom2 wouldn't be money spinner even duo Ash show her sexy body. Indian public r not that bad.It wouldn't fetch half the collection of Doom. lage raho muunabhai,Fanna,RDB and Janemaan is better film of the year. Watching forward to other surprise 'Babul'.
I have not doubt that Dhoom-2 is gonaa be a super-hit. Hritik and Ash are looking stunning in promos. And Abhishek is also going to rock the show .....
Dhoom2 is going to be biggest hit. You can not compare it with dumb DON which had only mediocre opening and sustained due to public curiosity of have a Dekho.
We saw the movie tonite at the Columbus Drexel Cinema. In US the movie was released a day earlier than India to coincide with the biggest holiday in US- the thanksgiving day! As expected the theater was almost a house-full. I haven't such an ensemble of Desis in a film show before in US. About the movie:- Its a full masala movie, pura paisa wasool. Hrithik, Uday, Abhishek, Ash and Bipasha were fantastic. I feel only Hrithik could have (and may be John Abraham) fitted in the role of Aryan or Mr.A. Ash looks her best after a long time (after HDDCS and Devdas). Uday was extremely funny. Was it a copy from any english movie? Not really but there were parts in the movie which bore resemblence to " The Saint", "2 fast and Furious","Lethal Waepon", "Mission Impossible 2", and "Bourne Identity" (in this order). The movie was fast paced and the songs fitted with the movie perfectly (though I still beleive Dhoom had more catchy tunes). Overall we thouroughly enjoyed the movie and would be waiting for Dhoom 3. Mark my word it would go on to be the biggest grossing Indian movie in US.
Dhoom 2..Vow...sounds like Terminator 2...hahaha Bollywood has spicy brains, always trying to be shadow of hollywood which can never happen. Bollywood is zero both in technical and acting.
Masti masala....Garam masala....Bunty Aur Babli..Jaaanemaan..only fit for such movies...most of them are chamiyaa...
