According to your article Krissh is the biggest hit of this year but its actually Munnabhai 2. Krissh Total Net Gross ( Total Gross - Entertainment Tax ) is 64.86 Crores. Lage Raho has Total Net Gross of 69.48 crores so far and is still playing so should cross 70 crores.
Total Net Gross is more imp. than just Total Gross as the Entertainment Tax goes to the goverment and not the producer or distributor so has to be subtracted.
So Dhoom 2 has to surpass LRMB 2 to become the biggest hit of the year and not Krissh.
this movie is sick....gwad...what the hell did the director wanted to direct....it was like sort of a movie...canvasing for some designer and improving the tourism industry for brazil....
hrithik n ash will be kissing for doomsday in bollywood for sure...
You know yesterday I was seen Dhoom-2,it amazing and rock ,beatifull of action of Hritik Roshan's,AND ASH.so nice,it will sure become the biggest hit of 2006
Seen it, didn't like it. The movie is all hype no substance and given it's a YashRaj banner film, it will 'definitely' be a hit, irrespective of whether it actually is or whether audiences actually liked it or not. They'll prolly just PR it as a hit and go around blowing their trumpets over it, pulling in audiences who will go in to see why it is a hit.
Atleast Don had a story, good music and stunts that seemed very much feasible and were well executed. This movie doesn't even have that. It's a bad movie with bad music and lame stunts and action sequences. So how it can be a hit is beyond me.
Ya can only laud it for the casting, for bringing together so many stars. Whether they all can perform well, ya gotta go watch and see it to believe it how miserably it has failed. Esp Ash who is completely miscast. The second rediff review got it spot on; as soon as she opens her mouth to speak, which she does a lot in the movie, all the sensuality and charisma is gone. She just can't carry of such a role naturally.
But won't be suprised if it does become a hit because Indian audiences(here or abroad) seem to watch any rubbish these days.
