yeh amey i feel very sorry for u. i never expected u will walk out yaaar i pray that u should get good opportunities in future. according to me u r indian idol.

Hay whoever you are.I always dont write to any one I am Dr in Akron ,USA.I am not Marathi but I still love Amey's singing.No one not even Debojeet, Vinit from Sare ga ma sings with such passion and feelings.The way he exited has proved he is true Indian idol.Karunya is good in high pitch songs,but he lacks singing from with in which Amey has. About Other two Sandeep and Anuj I dont want to waste my energy
I assume by people you mean Marathis! The question that need to be asked is that how have you reached this level. FOr your kind information, the show is selecting an Indian Idol not a Marathi Idol. And by the way the last "Indian" read (Marathi) idol was also a Marathi. The kind of jingoism that Marathis are displaying will lead to the flight of capital from the city cause they are other cities like Kolkata where the jingoism is non-existent.
It is sad but true that our country does follow a tradition of preferring their kith & kin over talent. Besides, if something get popular, then even if it is not quality, it gets recognised.
Voting out of Amey Date is not a solitary incident or a recent phenomenon. In recent past, the same has been the case when the best performers in similar offerings at Zee were voted out as winners were getting votes from their respective zones. Why, even a badly sung song like Aashiq Banaya aapne was not only pitted against Dheere Chalna of Sonu Nigam but also got the award.
I feel, in our country, we do need to organise such contests on zonal basis first & then the zonal toppers should compete & be judged by a panel of unbiased jury.
Hi I am Gargi from Akron,OH,USA.Amey was always every ones's fev.Sony TV didnt allow us(NRIs) to vote for Amey otherwise we would have never let him down. I think whatever happaned with Amey was only because as Inidan Idol 2 compared to Sa re ga ma and Indian idol 1 was not gaining attention.The way sonyTV would have gotton publicity was only by exit of people's fev Amey Date.I think sony tv used him to increase their TPR. I think it was worst publicity stunt I have ever seen.They tried to copy whatever used to happan in Sa re ga ma. But I really feel very bad for Amey.He was best singer among Indian Idol.I think sony tv might have predecided Karunya to be Indian idol.It is my speculation.Because they always promoted karunya and Antara this may be because Amey was part of Sa re ga ma few years back.Amey has love,passion,feeling in his singing which every one from Debojeet,Vinit(Sa re ga ma) and Karunya(Indian idol2) lacks it.And I am preety much sure this passion will make him winner in music industry. The way he behaved on his exit he proved he was true idol
hi i am from pakistan.and i love 2 watch indion idol but after the amey\'s voted out ,my interest 4 ihis progarrme is finished now.i hve never seen such a big lose of a talented person.and i m not happy with indion public\'s dececion
I dont feel angry with the overall issue. If Ameya was voted out even when he was everyones favourite we might be ignoring the large crowd that voted someone else. And it doesn't mean that they hated Ameya.. they just loved someone else more. This is a competition with a set of rules and it should be played like one. Loosing this competition won't ever mean loosing everything for any talented person like Ameya.
