Rediff has done it again..!!! A misleading film review by another so called critic, who sits in the rows of those who just know to criticize even a good piece of work. This has happened several times before. What's wrong with these apes? They criticize a copy-pasted hindi movie (even if it is well presented) and they also and equally even an original plot. Why cant these apes just keep the dirty minds aside and watch the movie as a mere 3 hour entertainer? I watched this movie at a movie hall, and the entire audience were laughing all the time. If Patcy's review is considered to be pure, are all those people fools who enjoyed every scene of the movie? Malamaal is a pure entertainer, with no commercial masala (sex, violence, melodrama, etc), and very well handled. Better get your brains checked, Patcy..!!! And please.... stop misleading people for your personal gains..!!!!!
Err... Did you say that "it's a script Priyan wrote himself, after a gap of three years."
I suppose that it is just a coincidence then that in 1998 Waking Ned Divine hit Britain, which was about a dead man winning a lottery in an Irish village and the whole village - lead by two villagers - trying to convince the lottery officer that he is still alive.
Hera Pheri, Hungama and Muskurahat Tops list comedies. Though Yeah tera Ghar,Hulchul, Garammasala and Malaamal Weekly are not that good but watchable in a stressed out world like at present. We want to leave our thinking caps for sometime and have a blast. David dawans is good but not as effective as Priyadarshan. Priyadarshan brings the best in Paresh.
It is a really refreshing movie for the common people.
Unfortunately critics like to only praise the movie with a serious story line & big stars( to please them may be so that they get free invitation for the party.
I think Rediff movie reviews/opinions are going in one particular direction influenced by somebody from the Industry. Earlier, you were bent on proving that Taxi no.9211 was bad & wouldnt do well. Contrary to your comments, Taxi no.9211 was liked & currently biggest Hit. Same thing about Malaamal weekly. this film was praised by many sections of the media. And yes its currently biggest Hit in U.S. & U.K. if we have to go by Gross collections for this week. I dont know why your so-called critics do biased reporting. Parag.
