In my opinion best on screen villain are Amrish Puri and Gabbar singh. They were versatile.............

Hi , I think now a days in the era of 90 and 21st SRK is the best villian in Anjam and Daar . The way he performed in these movies is amazing .

Great Villain is none other than Gabbar singh.

But in my view most loved person in villaneous role is Sharukh Khan. I liked him in baazigar & Darr.

I think easy way is to rate the charaters rather than the actors.
Pran in Madhumathi
Amjad Khan in Sholay
Ajit in Zanjeer and similar movies
SRK in Anjaam
Amitabh is Ankhen
......

Best villain of all time is SRK in Darr. The character is brilliant talkin to his dead mom over the phone and the kkkkkkkiran....brilliant.

His each role was different one with different style

Infact some times he used to look so handsome that heroes were side tracked - I wonder why heroines used to go after biswajeet, joy mukherjee instead of Pran

One & only Amrish Puri done the great job as a villain. his variety roles in Mr India, Ghayal , Damini, Gadar , Jeet ,Koyala, Ajuba , Ram Lakhan.

In New Talent Mukesh Tiwari in China Gate & Ajay Devgan Done the Great Job In Negative Roles in Company, Khakee , Deewangee , Kaal , Shikar.
