The answer is NO. The first movie was based partly on Patch Adams which gave it that extra bit of edge. And to be honest I liked bits and pieces of that movie only because of Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani. Sanjay Dutt is a poor actor. Script of Munnabhai MBBS was otherwise pretty unintelligent. And I don't expect Rajkumar Hirani to do any wonders this time unless he explores another Hollywood wonder.
From KSA. I Belive NO.... Because its very difficult to copy your previous success, refer to the films of renowned directors like Suraj Barjatya the answer you will find by yourself. One more point, In Munna bhai the film was success because of very good acting of Arshad Warsi Yaani Circuit still i watch this movie whenever get a time just because of Circuit, same like Satya was hit because of that Bihari Hero and not because of original hero, so if the director give arshad warsi a fair chance on screen then there might be a good chance of success, but still who knows tomorrow.
Truth to be told, never ever been this excited for a bollywood flick...& the fact that the movie is a sequel (if not, atleast a movie with the same AMAZING DUO in the history of Indian cinema) to one of the greatest comedy flicks ever in Bollywood, just adds upto the HYPE...I'm sure they gonna live up to it Rest assured, even if the movie is a dud, I'm positive that the DUO are gonna create history & cash in some serious business...Now stop wasting your time, reading this crap...GO WATCH MUNNABHAI & CIRCUIT aur LAGE RAHO....
I am damn sure the sequel will be better than the original. One, Vidhu Vinod Chopra will not settle for any thing sub standard. Two, the plot sound much more promising. Three, Don't know why but it'll revive Gandhism in a big way.
Hi, I think Pran should be considered the greatest villian. Other single roles like Gabbar Singh, Ranga (of Ranga Khush) are one time performances, but Pran in his villian days was one who generated max hatred and fear. So the greatest villian as a person belongs to him. As characters, Gabbar may be the best
Without a doubt, Amjad Khan. Perhaps for the first and only time when the crowds went to see a villian of the movie instead of the hero or the heroin. One scene that sent sweat down your spine was when he kills the insect crawling on his hand, just before Sachin is killed.
Its definitely Amjad Khan's Gabbar Singh from sholay.I don't think there can be much debate about this.Infact till age 10 I thought gabbar was his real name!!!
Amrish Puri is indeed the Greatest Villian of all times... Puri Sahib played variety of roles as a villian and had a great way of delivering evil messages with eviliest Laughter... NUmber of Times Amrish Puri has played Villian role to perfection is unmatched with any other Villian in the industry.. hats off to the Great Amrish Puri - Mookambooo
