Sharmaji.... apaka review padhke yeh samajh mein aa gaya ki aapka taste kaisa hai. You better continue with popcorn rather then misguiding poor readers. This movie is CRAP.
It was a desperate attempt to show some Phoren country, naked white babes and some 'do not even dream of buying (or washing if you did buy)' wardrobe at the cost of the story. Also so star heavy, that it crumbled on its own weight. (Ms.) Karan Johar is very fond of roping in big names, make them go glycerine happy and make the audience feel all kicked about the brilliant performance (But what the hell, he's making good money from the garbage). You all must be wondering 'why the hell on the face of this earth did this guy, tongue lashing (Ms.) Karan Johar's work of art, go and watch this movie at all?'. Hey, when you're married, its hard to escape such 'blockbusters' man!! If you havn't watched it, don't waste your money. If you can't avoid it, settle for a sunday afternoon 'matinee' when the ticket is half price, like I did. -R
Can anybody tell me why SRK and Rani inspite of living in fashionable huge mansions and sometimes travelling in the private number plated Mercedes (Rani getting out in front of SRK's home with the number plate RAPID) still choose to travel by train?
I couldn't expect from Karan Johar to make a movie life this. Crap movie, No depth in character, Repetation, All actor did nothing new. "Sharukha ne sirf puri pict. me haath uthaee, har gaane me wahi aada". I was seeing my watch continiouly so i can get out first. I paid MUR 100 (Mauritian Ruppers), It's expensive here.
After that, I took pill for headache.
No conlusion in story, no message to audiance and many more thing to say " I want to use all Hindi bad words for this movie".

Shahrukh first keeps his hands on his butt and then in air that is what acting is all about for him. He can't love sexy wife Zinta. If there was no love how they had kid? Rani waiting for Shahrukh on her wedding day or what? Earlier Karan showed that they were trying to make their spouses happy with Rani entering half nude and Shahrukh massaging to Preity. It didn't worked so Rani and Shahrukh started having their own sex life. Rani explaining Shahrukh how to make love on bed in JcPenny or Macy's in Newyork and goes all over him. She couldn't have just told him verbally. It was very clear message that Rani wanted to have sex with Shahrukh eventhough he is 40 but not with Abhishek.
This review contains most of the story itself and a desciption of each of the characters rather than an insight on what the write feels.
I do not agree that almost every woman was crying in the theatre!! I infact did not shed even a single tear for this movie!! Its definitely not worth it!!
KANK is a movie which is not in line with Indian ethos and hence it is set abroad. I was excited at the star cast but was not convinced with the role play of bollywood stalwarts. The movie, in my view has given importance to too many trivial issues which in normal life are either sorted out or convinced. It was rather stange for a characer like Rishi to be faced with infidelity for being such a good partner.
All and all, it is movie far from the real life and leaves a lot to be desired. Here is one AB fan asking him why he He did this?
I think there was no need of Amitabh Bachchan in the movie. It was a move to ensure that the movie becomes a hit. Shahrukh Khan was again at his best but its time now for both Shahrukh and Karan Johar to stop working together. Theme of the movie is bold one and very Indian. We Indian tend to get very showy while dealing with such issues. Congrats to Karan Johar et al.
Overall; KANK does not connect...Too little intensity ensures that there is absolutely no feelings for ANY character except probably Abhishek's who along with Amitabh and Kiron Kher rises above the pathetic script..Rani, for once performs below par..Priety is grossly under-utilized and the lesser said about the overrated, irritating SRK, the better. It is obvious that he is living past his sell-by date. (remember Mithun Chakraborthy in late 80s and early 90s..??)

Cmmon he has NO library..Karan Johar has only made 3( three) movies..that too with BIG stars...even a Jhunjhunwala can make a HIT movie with them...NO library...at 35 he has 3 films...at 70 he would have 10 films max and 9 would be with SRK....so, US ka maal is already in his pocket...wat Karan?
'KANK' a bad bad film from Karan's film library. Its running in cinema because of karan's previous hit films , after some day people will say it was bad.
