My favourite is "Run" which is a tamil movie. It was remade in Hindi with Bachhan Jr but not to that effect. The subway scene in which Maadavan runs from Goons and then pulls the shutter still thrills me.
Another one great action movie was MohanLal starrer "NaraSimham".. He is ultimate in it.
sholay... coz it depicted something very real and stark. bursts the myth that a hero will never die even if he is fighting 100 goons. plus overall the premise of revenge seemed very real not to speak the chilly villain and silent thakur. sarfarosh... not coz of the fight sequences but the overall script and twists. a very well written, enacted and performance oriented action movie. aamir khan and naseeruddin shah at their best. not to mention sonali bendre's "don't mind" for comic interventions. dhoom ... coz of the slick action sequences. john abrahm as the villain was just too cool
since not well aquaintanted with b-movies, i like to say nobody can beat south indian superstar rajanikant; his much noteworthy actions..refered to as "kunku-fu skill". A stunt from the movie "muthu" being incorporated in a french movie, and his movies bombing at Japanese box-office.
" i am one of the die-hard fans of him. hat-off to him!
