I already know that Sholay is gonna' win. But for a moment let's forget Sholay. Let's talk of movies that worked on the basis of pure action. Not dialogue, not performances but pure action.
Action movies of the Hindi Film Industry cannot afford to ignore Akshay Kumar's contribution. He was after all, the first star who could do a convincing spinning kick. Being a trained fighter certainly helped. But the one movie that blew me away as far as his action was concerned, was 'Khiladiyon ka Khiladi' which also starred the 'American Bad Ass' the Undertaker. Take one scene in the movie where he's fighting one of 'Maya's'(Rekha, in a steamy role!) henchmen. He executes a Spinning 'outside to inside' kick, then an immediate spinning hook kick with the heel and then takes him out with a spinning sweep to his legs. Jackie Chan would have done it faster, but Akki's is 6'2" as compared to Jackie's 5'8". I really feel that Akshay was hampered in that movie due to a lack of creativity on the part of the fight choreographer. There was a lot of potential in some situations. Inspite of all that, in terms of pure action, 'Khiladiyon ka Khiladi' gets my vote.
Hi Guys, Actually I like a lot of good action Films but my favourite is Kaante by Sanjay Gupta.I like this film becoz of its hollywoodish picturisation and great action sequences.A must watch Film for every action lovers.
