Saw this movie on it's first day of release in USA.Was really disappointed.What made karan Johar and SRK to produce such a movie.Even though it's a new try , but for what?????The director has not achieved what he started of with this movie.SRK's and Malaika's title song is really worth watching.Regarding actors,,,Devgan and John Abraham are the only 2 who keep up to the mark.They are worth watching and keep up the expectations.It's better that Vivek Oberoi rethink about his acting skills.He is not good in any of the scenes and make you feel irritating.Lara Datta is not bad.Isha Deol's screen presence is worst and is always with full makeup through out the movie(even in dense Jungle where they are lost).It's better to pull out the movie,,,,,,,,rebuild it and release again with clear intention.I would definitely not refer anyone to see this movie.....
Really it is such a stupid movie, please dont waste your money to watch it. It is picturised in such a way that the Characters don't have commonsense at all in the movie. In every scene it is shown as that characters goes in front of death willingly. Director has completely under utilitised the Talent of the Actors and crew he got to make this film. It is better don't watch Kaal.
If i have a remote in the theatre then I definately watch something else may be Ekta's serial but not this movie. This is the worst movie of the year.
When you watch the interviews of star cast of the movie, then everyone saying that you will be shocked when you know the end. And I really shock when i see the end of movie like this. I think "Darna Mana Hai" and "Vastu-Shastra" have much better endings.
Now talk about technical things, Camera Work is good but if Ghost view scenes shoot from the Infrared film then the output is much better. And for Soham, it is better to not write a movie again, he may be a good publicity designer (K3G, Bhoot, APD ) but very bad director. But we can forgive Soham for the mistakes but not Karan Johar for producing such a Bundle movie under Dharma Productions. We cant expect you this Mr. Johar.
its not that bad a movie also....the prob with all of us are that we expect a hindi movie to be like some hollywood flick....but we forget one of the core point is that a movie has to run to make money. every movie is done with a audience in mind and i think kaal is going to have audience, which gonna like the movie. for people like us , who r so familiar with hollywood flicks, it mite not be that good but for common indian people, its a very good movie.....ofcourse it has its negative points...but still watchable.....with amazing back grnd score and visuals......so Mr. Critic, its high time u shud learn to do a review a movie from masses point of view and not from UR point of view.
Somehow rediff reviews always give the impression that, they r not reviewing the movie for masses but for themselves. A critic shud always review the movie from the masses point of view. We are not reading ur review for wat u like. I gues u shud learn a little from Taran Adarsh on how to review a movie. Maybe u will learn a little.

ha ha..one of the wittiest reviews of a Hindi movie. I couldn;t stop reading it for a while. Anyway I agree, while I;m not interested in any stupid Hollywood imitations with the token PYT's in miniskirts, I'll be waiting eagerly for Bhattacharya's next article. Keep it up, SB.
What does the writer actually mean by this article? why is rediff posting such borin articles like this? i dont think rediff should give the writers this much permission to say whtever they can.utter foolish..a writer should have that creativity and not like,comparin with other films.rediff should change people like this.
Nice photography, nice scenary , poor plot moviing slowly.reminds of hollywood Hollowene movie where teenagers get killed one after another. Kaal's character though mysterious is incrdible.Unless tigers are heavily tranquilized and threatened with electric shock whips,they don't follow any jungle rules. They will go for the neck regardless.
