a few observations& questions
by nitin butee on Nov 18, 2004 12:43 PM

it has been a great pleasure to watch this gigantic movie. the movie has been picturised marvellous no doubt about it,at the same time i would like to add a few things which could have been corrected timely.how an orthodox person like sumersingh who doesnot allow girls' school to come up in the town doesnot object for veer's association with zara and how could the girl stay in india for such a long time.i would also like to know about whether the locations are really from pakistan.

comments on new release of yash raj banner

Veer-Zaara would be the flavour of the year as all Yash raj movies are exquisite labour of love. The passion and emotions with which Mr Chopra makes his movies just reflects and reaches out to the audience.Iwould totally agree with Mr Chopra that Latajis vocals add more soul to his creations.Lamhe ,which flopped on the box office is one of the best Hindi film ever made.It is brilliant in all its facets right fom the performances, direction, scripts ,cinematography etcetc. It is an absolute delight to watch the movie
again and again.Only an accomplished and sensitive filmaker like Mr Chopra can create such extraordinary piece of art.Iam sure that Veera Zaara will create the magic assosciated with Yash Raj banners.

VEER ZAARA
by rajesh parakkoth on Nov 12, 2004 01:11 AM

Yashji,
How gud the film would be is yet to be seen. But to do take a challenge of using Madan mohanjis tunes have been really commendable.I would have liked any tune of his but you know the punch and wut the audience wants. And it has everything that the indian requires.Have seen the promos and as usual your film reflects india, the colors, the tradition and the music and especially the YASH effect.I wish i get a first day first show ticket tommorow. Thanks for all you have done and been doing for the Indian cinema.

Lata mangeshkar and Yash Chopra..Once aagain!!!! we are blessed
by ash on Oct 21, 2004 08:01 PM

I agree with Yasjji totally,Lata Mangeshkar is a Mata Saraswati!
I some times worry about the Hindi cinema and where it is going now a days.
With the half clad women and those "Item Numbers"
Just wishing we find few newcomer directors who follow the foot steps of Yahiji, Guru dutt,V. Shantaram,Subashi Ghai.
All the best to Yash Raj Productions ..I am sure with the Midas touch the film has to turn golden jubilee!!!!!
