It seems like Indians are stuck with the idea of making a Pakistani girl fall for and Indian man (Gadar and now VZ), but if you people so believe that love is above any religion, why not make a movie about an Indian girl falling in love with a Pakistani Muslim boy and come to live in Pakistan for his sake? How about that haan?
Love stories have to be balanced.If there is too much unnecesary emotional content film will fail.I hope the producer has this in mind while making Veer Zaara.
Dont know it would be a hit or flop. But it is a Yash Chopra's creation so it has to be best. But have doubt about Shahrukh khan. Let us wait and watch.
intresting 2 hear that yash chopra saying atleast 10 to 20 times in the interview therz is no connection between me n dhoomm..lol(vulgarity)....the bikini scene of esha ...n that 2 frm chopra's production

Veer Zaara has no meaning as such. its just the names of the two characters of the movie. Veer is shah rukh's name and zaara is preity's name. so veer zaara is a title akin to heer-ranjha, sohni-mahiwal. hope you got the point.

In this movie Sharukh Khan's name is Veer Partap Singh----an Indian Pilot and Priety Zinta's Name is Zaara Hayat Khan---a Pakistani Girl so datz y name of the movie is VEER-ZAARA Like Heer-Ranjha, Laiala-Majnu, Sohni-Mahiwaal etc....but there is a little difference is this that in all tha above said movies name of male is sounds after tha name of female But in This Yash Chopra's Venture name of male sounds before the name of female...

What people are defining the meaning of Veer-Zaara is just the superficial meaning of the conjoined words with reference to the film but to tell you the truth or the real meaning of Veer-Zaara, it means "Target" or "Destination".
I don't know whether the meaning has anything to do with the film as I haven't seen it, but it's the fact.
