satisfied with movie but salmaan is very bad

I have seen the movie on the very first day and I must admit movie was a good one except very very poor aND Over acting of Salmaan and unnecessary removing his shirt. His acting was major disappointment according to me. Preity and bhoomica did a good job. I feel, if hritik has been there instead of Salmman, the movie had been fantastic as emotional role he can do much bettr. Let us keep salmaan only for fighting.

I say you must show this new novice the door. She is clumsy and hamhanded.Atul has done a resonably good work. The picture is worth watching.

DNJAK

Some people don't like Salman's comedy, his Rona dhona. In short they don't like anything about him and get sadistic pleasure when his films don't do well. So what if his DNJAK has not done well. He has already given 4 hits in a row which even the great AB has not. If the reviewer can not be fair in his analysis then he or she has no right to review a film. Well done Atull there is always a next time because you got talent.

Need some originality in the script, stop stealing foreign ideas.
by Rakesh on Sep 14, 2004 04:10 PM

Maybe the reason 9.5 out of 10 films flop now-a-days is less or no importance to the story. The filmmakers have stopped understanding that the story is supposed to be the heart and soul of any movie, more or less like the motor of a car. Just see how many writers-producers-directors or writes-directors (or in other combinations) are there in the market. 9 out of 10 movies made on scripts that are woven around an idea stolen from a hollywood movie (Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa-Return To Me, Rakht-The Gift, Hum Kaun Hai-The Others, Dhoom-Fast and Furious, Phir Milenge-Philadelphia are just examples from recent releases of foreign ideas that are adapted to indian audiences taste buds). Gone are days when we used to see "based on a novel by....." or the days of Devdas, Sholey, Abhimaan, Dil ke jharokhon se, Patita...The latest formulae being: Steal he idea from a hit (semi hit) hollywood movie, prepare the script of the movie in a week, get the cast, buy 2-3 songs from the singing/dancing industry (usually 1 romantic, 1 item-number and 1 theme song), shoot the whole movie within 30-45 days, editting/ inserting the songs randomly and lastly create huge hype, 1-2 controversies...
